Self censorship is something I have always failed at.
Caused me many problems in school, I could never keep my head down and be silent whenever a teacher was spreading misinformation.
I got suspended for arguing with a teacher because they told the class that Australian does not have a constitution and called me stupid, said that only USA has a constitution.
There were others just as smart or aware is a better word as me, who were able to practice self censorship, and they have had much more "successful" lives than I have, because when their employer says something they don't like they just carry on, while I tell them to get fucked and explain why they are wrong.

We who wrestle with the vibe.
Something I’ve been noticing when vibe-coding a topic I don’t fully get yet: I make a ton of mistakes. Then I end up reading a bunch of code, adding logs everywhere, and writing even more. It feels chaotic, but weirdly effective.
Some people say this newer way of programming is making us worse developers… but is it? Are we worse off now that we don’t write in assembly anymore? Or maybe we’re just learning at a different layer of abstraction.
The theory usually comes later anyway—and it sticks better once you’ve wrestled with the mess.

Because i like the visualization of the feed in damus, my hope was, that @nprofile…76hk has a similar filter/save feature. For me that is a must have to handle the different posts.
By engineering a backdoor. iOS for example does have an on-device enclave wherein a secret can be generated and the app can never know that secret, but that flavour of enclave isn't used with nostr apps (obvious since you can copy out the nsec, meaning the app can always pull it from the chain in raw form).
The source code is only as good as the latest version. Also you can't prove an update of an app on the App Store was generated from the latest github commit, even with an easily reproducible build (it's not cryptographically attestable, a lot of Malcoms in the middle). And a rogue employee would always make sure to publish a clean commit regardless, or simply push the App Store update sans a commit.
If that all went down then the app, via a roundabout series of obfuscated methods, would be programmed to act as if the user was copying out the nsec without the user having done so (or having done something else), then intercept the nsec, then attempt to disguise it as regular traffic, or send it out to a hidden endpoint, or write it to a log file that is then exfiltrated, etc., and do this for as many users as possible. (Or just wait for each user to actually copy it out and intercept it then, if playing it more carefully.) Something like that.
Apps being able to copy out raw nsecs just isn't great, even (currently) trusted apps.

I actually think that is a great example to support my point. Personally I prefer to shoot digital too. However it really helps to still understand how aperture and shutter speed work and how focal length and sensor (or film) size will affect your depth of field. While white balance is way easier to adjust on digital cameras, it is still good to know the concepts and understand how it works. And most photographers will agree that in the end shooting on "Auto" sucks.
Learning the basics and fundamentals first will make you a better photographer, no matter whether you choose to shoot digital or analoge in the end.
