Can you see the conscious threads of resistance?
Life’s messy. It’s raw. Unfiltered.
Sometimes we can’t finish the laundry, or meet the deadline. Sometimes we mess up, or we’re too hard on ourselves. Sometimes we say too much, or we don’t speak up at all. Sometimes we give too much, or we don’t give enough. It all boils down to resistance.
Some resistance is good, it pushes us to conquer our fears, and propels us into unknown things that end up being the absolute best thing that could of happened to us. Sometimes the resistance is too strong, and it holds us back into this endless cycle or season of defeat, pain, depression, or lesson. Every single person reading this right now has failed at something. We’ve all walked that path of resistance. We’ve all felt a wave of resistance so strong that it prevents us from moving forward. The key here is recognizing the path of least resistance. The flow. The gut instinct. When things continue to spiral, you have to stop and ask if you’re taking the path of least resistance. Are you running your life? Or is your life running you? There’s also beauty in the lessons. The resistant path of self discovery, that allows us to blossom into the beautiful souls that we are.
For some of us, it only takes one lesson. For some of us it takes many. For the latter, forgive yourself and recognize the child-like innocence of your fears. What triggers them. Then release whatever it is, and forgive.
Life is supposed to be messy. No one is perfect. We live, and we learn, yet we also learn so much more when we break the chains as we allow ourselves to LIVE MORE.
There’s resistance in all change. If the change is in regards to a situation or person you can’t stop thinking about longer than a day.. and you feel that slight gut pull, then rip the bandaid off and GO! Don’t throttle. Spread your wings! Because the truth is, the only thing that prevents us from LIVING this beautiful messy imperfect life of ours is the fear of getting started or making that first move. Your spirit *always* knows.
Trust yourself…stumble, fall, walk, stand, and then spread your wings, let that inner light GLOW and let yourself fly!!! Because the life you have always wanted and deserve is there.. you just have to open that door and let yourself walk through it.
