I recommend a #Protectli Vault Pro VP2420 4x 2.5G with no WiFi module, coreboot pre-installed, running OPNsense (or pfSense; I prefer OPNsense).
It's a great hardware firewall/router for most home and small business networks. You can install an always-on VPN if you like, assign interfaces, silo networks, assign subnets and static IPs, and generally keep your network monitored and secure.
Put your ISP router in bridge mode, then use the Protectli as your firewall/router.
You can run all interfaces off the same LAN network or get more granular with security through isolation...
Example:
• LAN interface could be for your trusted devices like your computer, etc.
• Opt1 could be your NAS or storage (siloed from both networks).
• Opt2 could be your untrusted devices like IoT devices and for friends to connect to when they come over, etc.
You can then use OPNsense to set up rules for how these networks can and cannot interact with each other.
You can also run switches (large and small, managed or unmanaged) and/or WiFi routers (preferably running OpenWRT) in AP mode off of any of the three interfaces.

So far, I have found that both PayPal and Meta use a phone number verification that rejects not only jmp.chat (XMPP) Jabber numbers (which is to be expected) but also silent.link inbound US IDENTITY numbers.
Using silent.link for two-factor authentication (2FA) is the main reason to have this eSIM, in addition to the Data Only eSIM plan.
And before you say, "Well, I don't use PayPal or Meta, so who cares?" - I'm betting it won't be long before other companies, banks, etc. start using a similar verification system.
So, unfortunately, I no longer see silent.link as a reliable option for ditching your local mobile provider completely for 2FA.

So captivating. She's my lil' ride-or-die babygirl. She is a very present girl and always wants to be a part of everything I do. She sleeps in her bed right next to my head, where the other pillow would go. I give her a kiss and tell her "good night" and "I love you" every night before I sleep, and her face with those eyes is the first thing I see looking at me when I wake up.
She wakes me up every morning without meowing by gently pawing at the pillow just beside my ear until I get up. She is a quiet girl with a soft meow. It's really quite adorable. She can raise her soft voice, but she chooses not to.
If by chance I don't wake up after a while, then she starts messing around with my computer cords and accessories until I do. She's very smart. She knows that will get me up. If I tell her "no" in a stern voice, she will look at me and double-down, nibbling at the cord or pawing at the mouse or whatever. She is defiant when the tone is harsh, but if I tell her "no, baby" in a soft, sad, or disappointed tone, she will stop. She can be a cheeky girl sometimes; she's big on respect. :)
As a breed, Sphynx cats are known to be extroverted, affectionate, and energetic, but she is respectful when I meditate. She perks up when she hears the tingsha or singing bowl I strike before and after silent meditation and usually sits or lies down near me, or goes to her favorite spot by the window.

Mastering others is strength;
mastering yourself is true power.
If you realize that you have enough,
you are truly rich.
If you stay in the center
and embrace death with your whole heart,
you will endure forever.
