Im curious about this. Bitcoin standard is free download so I got a copy for friend (not lending my hardback!) And came to nostr and just zapped Saifedean. I wonder how many would do it voluntarily. I've only experienced this from a project delivery perspective rather than selling an actual service. Developing something was a mess when people tried to overplay hands. Simple transparency always improved things in terms of making the triangle easier to manage in terms of deciding where to sacrifice if required. Maybe a similar approach of costs / times / options for materials to reduce and make it a choice without undervaluing your time?

Yeah read it years ago whilst working on oil rigs in Africa! hmmm. There's a base for a particular US oil major there that was over-run during the civil war. 4000 people got moved offshore and there was a US destroyer there to pick them up withing a few hours. I keep leaving fruit trees just as they get prolific. Buyer of house in Spain got highly productive lemons, oranges, limes and avocado. This time it’s finger limes and lemons and papayas. One day maybe I’ll stick around long enough but I’d love to go back and visit some of my old houses to see how they’re doing now

A guy at the table mentioned some historical thing that had occurred and a friend of mine said that wasn’t actually probably what happened even though it’s the accepted narrative. The chap got slightly put out at being called up and asked where the hell my friend got his version from.
