Looking for what? French riviera is nice, lots of great culture and food but also southern Spain has good beach bars and restaurants in summer. Malaga coast fantastic but quite built up. Cadiz coastline around Conil area stunning. Make sure to try the bluefin tuna and retinto beef and go up to see Vejer de la frontera. Portugal is also great. You want to take a weather risk for something a little different, try northern Spain around Basque country and Asturias. Especially if you like cider. Bilbao is a great culinary experience on the way. Too many options. Lots of coast. What are you looking for?

I totally agree with that sentiment and it’s why I got involved and set up local bitcoin group. It’s also a little odd when one has a few friends to discuss things with that have done the work and study but are not close by. Nostr does help there too. Open app, see thread, sigh, have a beer. Having spent time with both, that's really tough. They're both hard but sense lost results in amazing change to others. I've met blind people who find toouch noise really annoying but they seem to appreciate natural noises in a way that a seeing person never will. Also deaf people seem to visually notice things that hearing people don't which is probably distraction related.
My point is maybe rather than thinking of this as what would you consider less of a loss, you should wonder which heightened sense would you prefer if you were forced to choose?

Actually kind of was. I was cleaning stuff yesterday when found out had to cook. Friend was over and we did the whole traditional make risk assessment. It was actually me that suggested it should be cleaned before both of us reached consensus that it was fine.
The best thing is I decided to get a gas ring going and got a reminder that shit always goes wrong in the tropics. The gas bottles have these push fit regulators and the pin is not functioning so if I take connector off, gas leaks. Basically did Christmas with a rather hot grease fire and a potential fucking bomb in the garden!

Been going through this discussion a lot with a few friends. From technical security perspective, I agree and want to try and play around with. But I keep coming back to fiat world mentality in a way. The government bullshits people that deposits are safe to a certain amount so people naturally open multiple bank accounts. Key safety targeted with multi sig, multi device but I think maybe worth considering multi device / seeds division. Stack on a wallet to certain amount and hide and start another. I have never had only one bank account
