Some end of the day #wisdom and lesson (re)learned.
Two days ago I was talking with a young leader reviewing the results they achieved on a project.
Transparently it wasn’t up to standards.
Plainly put it wasn’t excellent.
(I have a short training on that if you are interested)
For context this is a young leader…lots of learning and growing to do yet.
I took that into consideration during my “pep talk” let’s call it 😁
Now recall, the results were not to the level expected.
I didn’t chastise him, but I walked him through, coaching, providing analogies, and even demonstrating what counts as an acceptable result in this matter.
The basic things they needed to work through were:
1. Doing the process isn’t good enough if the result isn’t attained. We can’t just go through the actions and say “it’s done, we did it”
2. If you know the results are not up to standards, don’t claim you are done (see point 1) you need to proactively communicate to the client/customer (person that assigned the task or that you agreed to deliver a certain result for)…proactively communicate to them that:
A. Hey…I know the result isn’t what you expected. It’s not what I’m willing to accept either.
B. I’m out of time today / I need a different tool (gizmo, widget, thingamginger, person, solution, etc) that I don’t have with me. So I’m going to return on _____ (day) at ______(time) to resolve the lingering issue. Will that work for you?

By doing the above you aren’t just settling and accepting sub-standard work that you (or your team) produce(s).
You are taking ownership of the situation and committing to leading well through it.
This isn’t just limited to #business it’s the same process for your life and your impact!

So fast forward two days to me.
At home on my day off, I was studying some fascinating stuff about moving from conducting business in the Public to the Private. (No joke I was into it!)
Well my wife goes out to do some shopping for herself. While she is gone I decide to weed the front flower bed for her and add some soil to some of the pots hoping it would get her “rich people” flowers as she calls them, to bloom!

How much thought have you given to that?
The way you are describing the political milieu in Germany, is that everyone woke up one morning and decided 'I'm just going to be a Nazi today', which quite frankly is laughable.
The more believable explanation for AfD's success is that the policies of mainstream parties are unfavourable to an ever growing number of Germans, and they are acting rationally in their best interests.

I love sharing! I just don't like being forced to do it in accordance with the choices of a few well-armed people.
One of the things that we tend to miss in these conversations is scale: in a tribe of people, you have enough close relationships - and enough accountability of the leaders - that taxation as sharing for the public good makes a lot of sense.
In a system with millions of people and no accountability for those forcing the "sharing," it's theft. To make it worse, those same thieves can also print the money that you're forced (again, under threat of violence) to use, and your assets go up in price because they're debasing the money.
We can discuss all those things you mentioned, and do that within a small enough community that we actually have a say in how the money is being spent and what taxation should look like.

The length of the antenna is required for the right wave to be able to escape the circuit and travel through the air.
Assuming that the cable can be modeled as an extension of the antenna (in a dipole antenna this is clearly not the case). If you send a 2412 MHz signal through the wire, you would still get 2412MHz radio waves, the only difference is that your new antenna (antenna + cable) is worse at transmitting it.
I am just an amateur SDR user, so I might have made many mistakes. Just answering from intuition.

About 70,000 light-years across, NGC 247 is a spiral galaxy smaller than our Milky Way. Measured to be only 11 million light-years distant it is nearby though. Tilted nearly edge-on as seen from our perspective, it dominates this telescopic field of view toward the southern constellation Cetus. The pronounced void on one side of the galaxy's disk recalls for some its popular name, the Needle's Eye galaxy. Many background galaxies are visible in this sharp galaxy portrait, including the remarkable string of four galaxies just below and left of NGC 247 known as Burbidge's Chain. Burbidge's Chain galaxies are about 300 million light-years distant. NGC 247 itself is part of the Sculptor Group of galaxies along with shiny spiral NGC 253.

на самом деле раньше у кофе не было оценок SCA и оно не доходило от фермера до обжарщика, всё смешивалось, даже без учёта обработок. Ещё раньше, кофе везли в сырых мешках, вся Европа пила испорченный кофе. Именно отсюда эта обжарка в уголь и муссоный кофе.
В СССР кофе был, но легко представить какой это был кофе. Старый, тёмной обжарки (если вообще пожарен), непонятного происхождения. Плюс никто не занимался его популяризацией через сладости и напитки. Люди просто не понимали как эту бурду можно пить.
Готовили кофе в СССР двумя способами. Были самодельные турки, и заводские перколяторы. И тем и другим пользоваться естественно не умели. В первом можно было сварить горькую жижу условно вкусную если с сахаром, а лучше коньяком, второе это изобретение дьявола. Это типа моки, только размером в литр и кофе там не переливается в верхний отсек, а варится по кругу. Моки тоже делали, естественно украв всё у Bialetti, но их никто никогда не видел, а если бы и видели то подумали бы что это перколятор. Рекламы то не было.
По этому конечно вместо того чтоб тратить рубли на какую-то ёбань, народ брал за копейки чай со слоном (или без слона если семья бедная) и цикорий который если поджарить тогда был не сильно хуже чем кофе тогда же. Его просто опять же заваривать не умели.
Про всю эту ёбань забыли когда появилась растворимка, а там уже и совка не стало. Хотя никому ненужные перколяторы производили до конца.
