Recently Apple updated something so whenever you say something with AirPods in, the volume drops.
Now whenever I sing along to the song with my AirPods in, the music lowers for some reason.

My superpower is I can see the future.
It’s made me a millionaire multiple times through entrepreneurship (I bootstrapped a game business when Facebook opened up the API back in ~2007/2008), and then later through investing in Bitcoin early.
My superpower also helped me raise 9 figures for nearly 100 businesses over the traders and saved my friends from losing tens of millions of dollars (maybe hundreds?).
I JUST realized today that I haven’t been in control of my powers for my whole life.
Seeing the future can also be a bane.
I was trying to CHANGE the negative future outcomes that I saw coming - but my superpower is SEEING the future not CHANGING the future.
I was constantly trying to correct behaviors & thought patterns, thinking that I could change things to avoid negative future outcomes.
While I have definitely come in at the right time for people in my life and have 100% changed their future, this takes a major toll on me.
Something simple like my daughter going over her screen time by an hour could put me into an anxiety state where I am envisioning the negative consequences of her continued overuse of screens years in the future … causing me to try to prevent a negative future from happening in the present, which usually leads to arguments because normal people don’t think like this.
Worrying is my cryptonite.
I am now going to focus on finding the tools to help me deal with changing the future in a way that doesn’t send me into worry and anxiety over negative future outcomes that don’t exist yet.
Does anyone else have this super power, and have you discovered a way to interface with normies in a way that allows you to have an impact on the future without harming the present?

For the last 4 months I’ve been training to scale Citadel walls and for the first time in my life, I’m able to climb a rope!
This is a big skill unlock for me, I was never able to do this as a kid or at any point until today.

I just realized that in 2011 I was guided to Bitcoin. It was not a coincidence.
I was in a coachable mode of seeking solution, and I was receptive to it immediately.
I had no doubts or concerns about whether it was legit or whether it would work or if the government would stop it, etc.
I was in the mindset of receiving wealth.
I had previously gone through foundational mindset books like “As A Man Thinketh” and “Think & Grow Rich.”
I was a big fan of “The Secret” and generally enjoyed the law of attraction exercises like figuring out what you want and attracting it to you with vision boards etc.
In 2011 I was going through somewhat of a challenging phase of my financial life where revenue was declining for a year straight and the post GFC world felt like a ponzi scam…I didn’t want to put my meager profits into stocks and real estate so I started learning about the history of money and gold.
I was watching a video about how to import gold and silver ingots into Canada when the guy mentioned that if you like gold & silver you should be looking at digital gold, bitcoin.
Immediate buy in. It was a life changing moment for me, though I didn’t know it then.
I did not deliberate, I plugged the source code straight into my brain.
What I’m saying is - are you closed off to new opportunities, or are you in a receiving state?
For periods of time after I found Bitcoin, I went through periods of being closed off, of having a scarcity mindset, forgetting the foundational lessons of goal setting and focusing on achieving and receiving.
It seems I got a lot of value from being in a receiving state in the past.
There’s a balance point between being in a state of attraction AND the filter of experience and lessons learned where I’m now sitting, perfectly balanced.
What will I be able to accomplish and achieve now that I’ve found the balance point?
I’m excited to find out, and I hope the same for you.

2024 has been a mission to build a Citadel Mind & Citadel Body.
Re: the mind, I’ve been going through the journey within to discover the source of unhappiness and feeling unfulfilled in my life.
Once you discover the source of happiness, just like the source of time and the source of money, is yourself, things can change quickly.
For those who’ve gone through this process, what’s the next step once you make it through the initial momentum of discovery & implementation of routines and changes in your life?
I’ve noticed remarkable differences in my mindset, my outlook & my relationships.
Re-wiring how your brain works after 40 years of habits and patterns is a difficult process.
Consistency is key for me. When I’m not consistent with my routines, I fall back into old ways of thinking and being which lead to noticeable mindset changes.
I wonder how (or if) it’s possible to get back the exciting & energetic feeling of when I first became aware ~3 months ago.

Day 1 of the Canadian Bitcoin Conference in Montreal.
Started it off right, went to bed early last night, up at 5 for a 630 gym session.

I’m on day 14 of the 16 day cleanse I started.
It’s about 900-1200 calories a day, mostly raw vegetables and black coffee 😂
No salt, seasonings or sauces. Lots of dry salad, lots of grapefruit and 4-5 eggs a day.
I went through the full emotional rollercoaster doing this, I woke up depressed one morning about 6 days in.
“Why the hell am I doing this!?”
I am working out 7 days a week as well, lifting weights and doing HIIT and yoga. I almost passed out multiple times at the gym in the first week, but my body has adapted and I’m even making rep gains on the cleanse.
This was more of a mental challenge than a health challenge.
2 days left and I’m starting to see abs which is kind of mind blowing to me … I never thought I would have defined abs.
I thought I had too much stomach fat.
In 2010 I started exercising for the first time in my life and did P90X 3 times in a row and lost 40-50 lbs, that was my peak fitness level around 160 lbs.
Over the last decade I yo-yo’d up and down between 190-165, mostly sitting around 175-180 … gaining weight then losing it to make sure I never got back to my peak fatness.
I’m about to surpass my peak fitness level now at 41, and it feels surreal.
The next 3 mths is a muscle building phase.
My goal body is within reach.

When it comes to wealth preservation and Bitcoin in general, your ego can be a major hindrance - my goal is:
1) to understand what is the best way to preserve and grow my personal net worth so I can have a life of abundance, success and love that I don’t have to ‘retire’ from.
2) to understand bitcoin and why it is the key to the above.
3) to acquire as much bitcoin as I possibly can while staying in consensus with my desires to help others.
4) to live a life of expanding authentic creation, using bitcoin as an abundance amplifier, inspiring others around me to do the same.
If you discover this path, your ego has no place.
There’s no need to get even, get invited, get offended, get noticed, get praised, get pissed, or any other “get” based things the ego is so good at.
When you understand bitcoin, and understand what your unique superpower/ability is … the thing that gives you purpose, and doesn’t feel like work … the ego is not required at all.
You must tame the ego, because it will try to take control.

I’m on day 55 of #100to100K
It was just what I needed after a very rough end of 2023 and a holiday binge month derailed me from my otherwise great progress in 2023.
As you can see from this graph I started doing 100 pushups a day at the local peak of my bodyfat % back in Feb.
Yesterday I just hit my lowest bodyfat % that I’ve been what feels like in 10 years.

I’m in proof of work mode. Currently down from 18% last year to 15.1% body fat.
My 2024 goal is 170 lbs, 12% bf and I’m dropping 0.05% bodyfat every day.
To get there I am eating 1800 cals/175g protein a day, with 45 min exercise every day, no scheduled days off.
Rest days are yoga & walks.

In 2011, I was inspired by Ron Paul, Peter Schiff & Robert Kiyosaki to save in sound money.
I took my entrepreneurial savings & bought gold & silver. Then I discovered magic internet money & started buying & mining Bitcoin at $10.
I recently posted about how I was operating from fear and how that was going to change.
After some reflection, I realize I wouldn’t be protected with a Bitcoin shield today without fear.
Fear is a powerful motivator.
Don’t ignore your fear, but, don’t let it control you.
Harness it and let it be a super power.
Is your fear real? If yes - then Cheerfully & Constructively do something about it. My doing something about it was productively protesting a corrupt system by saving in sound money.
Of course like all early pioneers, I didn’t make it to the promised land completely unscathed. Selling too much Bitcoin early, trusting insiders & exchanges, not having a risk management system, etc.
I’ll probably have a very hard time to ever make it back to my high watermark in BTC terms.
However, I just bought more BTC as we flipped Silver because I studied and learned lessons.
The first half of my life was about acquiring knowledge, mental toughening & learning lessons through experiences and gathering resources.
I was moving forward with naive hope and dreams, attracting success, but energy was leaking everywhere, high entropy.
Now I'm focusing my mind and body. I’m assembling a team. I’m moving into Citadel building mode.
Step 1 to building your bitcoin citadel is to have a clear vision and define the object objectives.
Clearly articulate the mission, goals, and values of your Bitcoin Citadel.
Outline how you envision the Citadel supporting your community, the Bitcoin ecosystem, your investments, and cultural projects you’re passionate about.
Your citadel must be big enough with fertile soil to allow for others to plant their dreams and grow within the protection of your walls.

I’m having such an incredible time here in Madeira.
I’ve been working out every day, eating lots of delicious meat, fish and vegetables and doing 100 pushups a day to $100K.
I have rarely travelled to Bitcoin/Nostr events but that’s about to change.
It’s so great to be surrounded by Bitcoiners. I’m actually coming back from this trip in better shape mentally and physically. I’ve lost 3 lbs of fat while I’ve been here for 8 days and I’ve been waking up at 5-6 am.
I’ve gotten so many positive messages from people I met for the first time at the conference and side events, surprisingly many even listen to my podcast 😅
I’m going to record an episode for the first time in 5 months tomorrow with @npub1l2v…ajft who really surprised me when he said he was a fan of my pod and encouraged me to record again 😀

Plus what a great location it was for the Bitcoin Film Festival & the Startup Pitch Fest which I got to participate in!
I’m lucky to be in a position to have such a close proximity to people like @npub1exc…n72a and @npub1az9…m8y8 who I consider close friends and advisors as well as co-investors in great bitcoin companies.
Also got some great 1 on 1 time with people I look up to a lot like @npub1s5y…6q7z who gave me a great framework of thinking about how to be a good leader and focus on delegation and taking responsibility.
A great cliff side sunset walk with @npub1j8y…vrvg which I’ll never forget, and a protein packed Damus BBQ with @npub1xts…kk5s and his family & friends discussing webs of trust and nostr redaction.
I got a great sauna session in with @npub16c0…6nvr and his son Marko discussing overcoming fears and limiting beliefs, health and the future.
I have missed many opportunities and offers in the past couple of years because I had a “ceiling of complexity” … but because of my new daily health & mental level-up routine, i am choosing @npub1s05…eyhe's PICNUF framework to focus on the positive.
I also hired a coach, Dan Martell, and I’m fired up! I was talking to Aleks Svetski and he said he could feel my shifted energy 😀
I’m going to build a team and build my citadel (figuratively for now) and be more proactive about expanding my impact to help lift up my community, my family and as many startup founders and bitcoin culture contributors that I can.
I went through a thought exercise in January- if BTC was at $1 million tomorrow, would I be able to build an actual citadel? The answer was no. So I’ve been making big changes in my life to make sure I am the person who can building a citadel one day.

I also got a chance to briefly shake hands with (but not yet spend any time with) @npub15dq…lm5m and @npub1sg6…f63m who have inspired me greatly over the last few years.
Saylor’s “cheerful and constructive” message has been in the back of my mind as a self correcting mechanism for how I interact with bitcoin critics and shitcoiners.
Jacks commitment to right the karmic scales and be a net positive for freedom and free speech has inspired me to invest in many educational and bitcoin tech companies in Africa and Latin America - which surprisingly, Jack followed on to 2 or 3 of them in later rounds, showing I am on to something with my investing strategy.
I shook hands with and/or hugged and spent time with or broke bread with many many awesome people, and a bunch I wish I got to spend more time with.
I have a massive list of selfies with beautiful people and notes on the exciting things they are doing.
I’m going to start going to more of these events so I can develop closer relationships with all of you who are my tribe!
Excited to also be spending time with my wife and daughter while I’m here, because my wife is Portuguese and I’d love for us to get passports!

I’m really struggling with lifestyle FOMO right now.
I have been a good HODLer for the last many years.
I sold some BTC in 2017/2018, after taxes I used the money to invest in companies, diversify into real estate and take some trips / make some films etc general lifestyle improvements.
I wanted to buy a Tesla X and build a dream home.
After some thought, I chose to frig the Tesla (even easier decision to stick with when Elon started shilling DOGE) and take the same money I’d have spent on 1 dream house to instead use it to upgrade my family’s living arrangements.
For myself, I did some minor renovations and landscaping on my existing house and we purchased and renovated an older home in Cape Breton and a Class C RV to drive back and forth with for summer visits.
That felt like the right decision, a modest lifestyle upgrade for myself while elevating the standard of living for my family and investing in Bitcoin entrepreneurs building bitcoin startups.
I even managed to buy back some BTC with the leftovers, albeit at higher prices.
I’ve been practicing delayed gratification for many years…however over the last 2 mths I’ve been experiencing a very big desire to upgrade to a more comfortable home.
We found an estate locally that is incredible, my wife fell in love with it, and I’m really struggling with the decision.
I know this is the absolute wrong time to sell BTC.
The real estate market in Ontario Canada is likely to see big drops over the next few years, and BTC is likely to see big gains over the next 2 years.
I’ve regretted selling too much bitcoin in the past, yet here I am wanting to do it again.
I really don’t think it’s a good idea to take on a large mortgage right now either since rates are so high … I’d hate to be a forced seller of BTC at lower prices in case we don’t see a raging bull market.
Is anyone else struggling with this?

Yesterday we held a Bitcoin meetup at a local cafe that I convinced to accept BTC in late 2021.
We didn’t call it a Bitcoin meetup, we called it a financial session on inflation & investing.
The idea was not to have a social bitcoiner meetup, but to bring friends/family to learn about the real causes of inflation, the risks to traditional markets and the opportunity in studying and saving in bitcoin.
We got ~15 people out on a Monday evening in a small town.
2 teachers, 2 real estate investors, 2 fitness instructors, 2 local entrepreneurs, 2 construction workers, 4 bitcoiners and 2 artists.
My friend and I decided to make a presentation sheet that we printed off and gave to all of the folks who came out.
We discussed at a high level the “cost of conventional thinking” inspired by a recent Saylor piece.

I had been the only customer who paid in BTC for 2 years. The owner was impressed at the price movement of BTC as she watched her stack grow over the year.
We made up a stack of lightsats.com tip cards with enough BTC for a few cups of coffee.
The printable light sats cards are a great way to promote local businesses that support bitcoin.
You should try it in your local area if you are so inclined to give away BTC, or if you can find a sponsor to sponsor the event with ~$200-$500 in free sats.
The best thing about light sats cards is that when half of the people inevitably forget about the card and don’t claim the sats, they come back to your wallet after x days.
This is a highly underutilized orange pilling tool.
Half the people setup a Blink wallet at the cafe, claimed their sats and paid for a coffee over lightning.
It was a great night where we focused more on high level conceptual financial literacy topics and didn’t delve so far into the activism side of things.
The information was received very well as we didn’t get into libertarian views of small government, free speech issues, politics, etc.

I went to a local burrito shop to donate to his pay it forward food wall. He had a high tech looking square terminal.
I asked the owner if he ever thought about accepting Bitcoin for the pay it forward meals.
Then we had a 20 min convo about how he wants to learn more about Bitcoin, he was even aware of @npub1sg6…f63m leaving Twitter to focus more on Bitcoin.
He said he almost bought at $60k, but he didn't.
He even said it's a shame everyone relates ape jpegs and ftx to Bitcoin, he didn't think the other coins were interesting, Bitcoin seemed like the only one to have a real shot at competing with the banks.

A high networth real estate investor friend is not comfortable with putting a lot of money into BTC, he holds about 0.1% in BTC.

Meeting with a local Bitcoiner who’s got this sick offline POS system.
It generates LNURL invoices, I was able to pay it with my @npub1mut…23vg with no issues.
This is so simple and incredible and since it’s offline there’s a hash code after that you can use to verify the payment was made in the companion app.

I don’t suppose there are any Bitcoiner RV mechanics near Quebec City who could come see my RV and let me know what sort of repairs I’m looking at, or possibly even do a repair?
I was driving back to Ontario from Cape Breton, and 3 days into our journey the wheels came off.
Thankfully I was able to wrestle this beast to the side of the highway without any major issues (aside from said wheels coming off.)
CAA was useless, but the Quebec Police (Officer Will Carrerra) helped me big time. They got us towed to an RV Garage near Quebec City, but the problem is - everyone is closed on the weekend.
I won’t know until Monday what will be required to fix it, or even if they can fix it.

Dr Jack Kruse has been talking a lot on clubhouse over the past 2 years about the power of sunlight for general health.
Since last year, I’ve been making an effort to be outside in the sun more, and I stopped using sunscreen and sunglasses about a year or 2 ago as well.
(Except when I know I’m going to be out in the sun / water for hours on end, I still use them sparingly.)
Also started Tony Hortons new fitness regimen called P4 (Power of 4), on week 6 of that.
@npub1rtl…jtfs turned me to Will Tennyson’s YouTube channel, getting some good tips there as well.
Been struggling to get to my protein goal daily, was doing 2 shakes a day to get there…but I had bad gas and bloating - my daughter thought I was on my period.
Turns out I was cramming too many chemicals in my face. HODL gave me some good protein tips (just the tips) and after cutting out erithryrol and moving to only 1 high quality shake per day and black coffee a week ago, I’m feeling better.
Great kicking & punching workout today, doing it in the sun makes the intensity go way up.
Strangely, after 6 weeks of clean eating in a 500 calorie daily deficit and workout out 6 days a week, I haven’t lost any weight.
Might be a case of not realizing how much butter and EVOO I’m consuming (I hired my sister to make all of my meals, thanks Bitcoin!)
Mindset is already getting MUCH better as I’m trying to get more time in the Sun and consistently exercising, it means less time being angry on Twitter.
Still lots to improve, but I’m glad to be back into a “proof of work” phase of my fitness journey rather than the Tim Ferris induced “minimum effective dose” crutch I’ve been using for the last 8 years.
That 4-hour BS undid the foundational learning from a year of P90X where I built a healthy habit of doing the work.

Before Bitcoin, your elderly family member who didn’t trust the banks would hoard cash and gold.
When they died, the family would get access to the deceased prepper’s money.
There was no “password” on the money.
The Satscard *could* be like that. Normal people who want to save some “cash in the digital mattress” without worrying about seed phrases and passwords could use a satscard.
Is there a way to think about this and build bitcoin gold/cash-like products that survives the test of time for the average prepper hoarder?

Mutiny wallet is everything I wanted in a lightning wallet for 4 years now.
A non-custodial lightning wallet that runs on your phone... The fact that it's privacy focuses is icing on top.
The only thing is that I wish I could zap with it on Damus... Can't figure that out.
