I joined Nostr and only saw people telling each other how great it was and why they should never leave it like a crazy ex.
The echo chamber gets old for me but I see the potential so I keep checking in and sending snarky messages like this one. 😁
Nostr is being talked about in the podcasting 2.0 community so that’s the main reason I’m even still using it because someone has to report back to HQ about what’s new over here.

Bitcoiners still use Youtube so how can you expect the average Joe to care? The best way to move away from the big tech walled gardens is to stop uploading your content there.
Video podcasting has been around almost as long as audio podcasting but everyone went with the "free" and "easy" option so here we are. You can even self-host your own video content and in fact @npub1yvs…wzdu and @npub19ha…q0fa released this DIY node building video this morning.

For what you’re doing I think Nostr/Fountain fits because any PC 2.0 people that know you exist are the ones trying out Nostr and will probably respond to you on Nostr/Fountain. That’s how it worked on the last episode you did.
Running Helipad on your own lightning node is the best solution for seeing PC 2.0 Boost and Boostagrams since everything is going to your node. Plus you see the Boosts coming in from other PC 2.0 apps that aren’t Fountain because there is more than just one PC 2.0 app that has lightning.
