I don't for security purposes. I wouldn't want my node sharing too many services that are connected to and sharing data on the Internet. I like to keep it as segregated as possible.

All Zaps that pass the trust rank if not being spam. Nutzaps are still kind 9735 right? And it wouldn't matter if a relay is nuked, it's still indexed by nostr.band.
I'd say it's fairly accurate. We've hit a milestone approximately every 6 months since inception.
Do we know if this statistic include all zaps? So relays got wiped. Some relays may be not known. It might be more. What about nutzaps?

hey! so with primal android, you'll need to disable the primal wallet (settings, wallet) and then setup a new NWC (nostr wallet connect) connection to your alby hub. you can then setup your default zap amounts.
you won't be able to remove or use the big zap button in the middle of the app though.
that's something that should be fixed, IMO. it's a bad UX to give people a chance to use an external wallet but not hide the one that they can't use. ill let them know. best case the button stays and just uses NWC.
Zap is the powerful pulse of Nostr. It is the best way to spend #Bitcoin here.

pretty sure media fetching is not all of the reason, it also runs off fetching shitloads of events from all over the place as well, and the constant draft saving, which sends the whole event over and over and over again, when it should be at least waiting a while to do that since you aren't going to be composing on two devices at the same time
there's dozens of ways to reduce the bandwidth problem, he just doesn't care, and throwing your hands up at "centralization" problems is hilarious while his app is practically the single point of failure of android users and changes he keeps on making that make interop difficult for other devs, idk, maybe i'm just cynical but i've grown to hate the nostr dev establishment with a passion, and the more well known they are the more they disgust me

Very similar situation with my grandma AND my grandpa just in the last few years. So many false alarms that just ended up taxing the whole family really badly.
Obviously I don't know the situation super well, but if I were in your same current shoes back when my grandma was going through this same situation:

Using Bitcoin isn't just a once a year event at some conference or meetup. We use it every damn day and all day long here. Let's go.

When we started it cost more than 3000 sats to zap the goats. Today it costs 1000. Same fiat price. 3x times less just like your 15k to 5k. The dollar is losing value.

The `useCurrentUser` hook should be used to ensure that the user is logged in before they are able to publish Nostr events.
### Nostr Login
To enable login with Nostr, simply use the `LoginArea` component already included in this project.

The `LoginArea` component displays a "Log in" button when the user is logged out, and changes to an account switcher once the user is logged in. It handles all the login-related UI and interactions internally, including displaying login dialogs and switching between accounts.
## `npub`, `naddr`, and other Nostr addresses
Nostr defines a set identifiers in NIP-19. Their prefixes:
- `npub`: public keys
- `nsec`: private keys
- `note`: note ids
- `nprofile`: a nostr profile
- `nevent`: a nostr event
- `naddr`: a nostr replaceable event coordinate
- `nrelay`: a nostr relay (deprecated)
NIP-19 identifiers include a prefix, the number "1", then a base32-encoded data string.
### Use in Filters
The base Nostr protocol uses hex string identifiers for filtering by event IDs, pubkeys, and signatures. Nostr filters only accept hex strings.

When Adam Curry and John C Dvorak started doing this with No Agenda 17 years ago it was about them producing a podcast, releasing it without any restrictions and if you would Value in it you could return Value back to the show in the form of Time, Talent or Treasure.
That idea got rolled into PC 2.0 where it's free and open for people to contribute to. Along the way the V4V streaming sats and Boost got rolled into and that's "valued" like you mentioned about. I know they Value their listeners and want to help them onboard to this cool new Bitcoin music thing we're doing but it's not the V4V model. It's paying people to listen to your music which is fine but it's not the V4V model that got introduced to all of this via PC 2.0.
5 years ago people didn't even know what V4V was. It's slowly being morphed over time to mean exchanging sats or paying for something you Value and that's not what it is.
It's setting your content free and if people find Value in it they can return Value to you.

Why isn't it? They value you as a listener and they're giving you value in exchange for that. And the best part, ou don't have to take their money, you can recycle it back into the pot and you can even donate directly to the pot. It's literally value-for-value, just with extra enhancements.
