This is a complex topic… difficult to convey with a few lines…
But at the core I am questioning whether those people in “wealthy” countries are truly wealthy. 50% can’t afford a home or the cost of home ownership far exceeds rent.
People that are slaves to their debt, servants to the state and trapped in the rat race are not wealthy.
Poorer nations may provide better financial stability to most of its society.

I went for a swim this morning at the local YMCA. After, while changing, I overheard the conversation of a poll worker.
The poll worker indicated that the first day of early voting saw 20 times the number of voters seen in 2020 on the first day!
I don’t real know if that benefits #Trump but clearly one group is excited, I can’t imagine those were #kamala voters.
I also can’t imagine it will spill into Illinois 👀

This may not prove you wrong, but a majority of Texas voters will most likely cast a ballot sending him for a third term to the senate for 6 years with his fourth term re-election being a midterm year which means it is very unlikely he will face any serious challenge for 12 years. At that point he will be 66 years old and should ride off int the sunset like a good cowboy does.

My suspicion is that most don’t understand negative interest rates:
A Porsche costs 2 #BTC this year, will cost 1 #BTC next year, and 0.5 #BTC the following year. So logically I would just wait 2 years buy a newer Porsche and have 1.5 #BTC left over.
Of course it might be 0.25 #BTC the following year so I might just wait.
So if I borrow 1 #BTC at -50% interest rate I could wait 2 years but the Porsche for 0.5 #BTC pay the bank back 0.25 #BTC , and put 0.25 #BTC in my pocket.

3 Nostur seems the best (love the markdown integration ) but no zaps on notes

Harris could do some very nasty things like ban self custody remove bitcoin wallets from all apps, App Store, etc. think Parlor make hodlers criminals. And then weaponize the DOJ to make a few examples of some prominent people. It will all be done under the guise of a crisis, or equality.
Harris would also support ushering in the one world government where we all bow to the knees of the world economic forum, or possibly the world health organization or something else like that. The longest chain with integrity wins, miners that detect a longer chain with a double spend do not have to give up a join the longer chain. They can very happily keep mining on the shorter chain they are on. Effectively become blind to any chain with integrity issues. Part of giving up and switching to a longer chain is a simple integrity check on that chain.
All distributed systems consensus base have to handle split brain.
Implication: It may take more than 6 confirmations to be considered irreversable. But not much more…
