Did you see test the antenna connector? Perhaps you have a short or fault from the board to antenna.
The ZEUS system still requires a payment to be made to an invoice that we generated.
Your scenario isn’t really much different than just zapping yourself. It’s trivial to make it look like you received way more than you actually did without even writing any code.
With some basic skill anyone can make it look like they received 22M bitcoin in a single zap.
But in most cases if the invoice is unpaid the zap can’t be broadcasted. This opens up a window for someone to send a million sat zap to themselves that never gets paid.
Zap receipts are not intended to be a proof of payment. All it proves is that some nostr user fetched an invoice.

As for the range problems, I just did an actual range test using the built-in #meshtastic module. I get intermittant coverage on my property (~1/10 acre) and spotty coverage about 30 feet beyond that. Everywhere else is a dead zone.
It's as if the antenna isn't even connected. So when it stops raining and the roof dries off, I'm going to swap out the antenna and do some re-testing to see if I can determine where the problem lies.

Routing on my node has slowed down. I filled up my sinks like kraken etc with sats so I’m ready to route big payments but it’s not happening. Only 7 million sats routed last 24hr.

“The nation state relies on taxation which is a form of theft. These are not consensual transactions. Of course, they would prefer to not have citizens that are private. They would very much prefer a system of taxation that cannot be hidden from.
That’s where the term ‘daylight robbery’ comes from. Back in England, there was [this idea) that ‘the home is the castle,’ and the tax man did not have the legal authority to enter the house and see the amount of wealth that you have inside, like how many gold coins does the subject have available. That was not allowed by law. It was a rather private system. So the solution was to tax what was visible. So the tax rate that you had to pay as a subject was dependent on the number and size of windows in your house, because that was something the taxman could see from the outside. You could not hide the number of windows that you have. And so the obvious protection mechanism unfortunately was to decrease the size and quantity of your windows. So a lot of old houses have their windows laid full of bricks to decrease the tax burden of individuals. So this was why we call taxation ‘daylight robbery’ — because it literally robbed the daylight of honest people.
Privacy benefits the victim, and surveillance benefits the attacker. And so if we create systems that are used widely by people and that have privacy as a default, then all of a sudden we substantially increase the cost of attack for any type of adversary. And if we create tools and software that have this default utilization of privacy at a cheap rate, then we decrease the cost of defense. I believe that’s the closest path to world peace, so to say — it’s a cypherpunk world where privacy is safeguarded and any attack is simply not profitable.”

One of the _very_ few places that actually enforce evacuation for air raids in Ukraine is some of the big malls (at least in safer cities like Kyiv and Odesa).
It's quite funny though being in one of the restaurants: the waiters quickly run around getting everyone to pay their bills first, and box up any remaining food and drinks to take away. Takes a good fifteen minutes to get everyone out. 😂 Of course, this has been a pretty much every day or two event for multiple years now.
I'm curious: how do they handle this in Israel? All the videos I've seen indicate they take the sirens much more seriously.

If the U.S. doesn’t get its debt under control, if deficits keep ballooning, America risks losing that position to digital assets like Bitcoin.”

A factor driving the trade war (or at minimum indirectly benefiting from it) is the looming refinancing "wall" faced by the US, with approx $14 trillion in federal debt maturing over the next three years.

In January, 10-year Treasury rates hit 4.8% — these rates would have meant high interest expenses from debt refinancing (compared to the last decade). Cue, the trade war. It's indirectly influencing debt refinancing in 2 ways:
1. Flight to Safety: Heightened economic uncertainty tends to push global investors toward safe haven assets, like US treasuries. And increased demand for Treasuries drives down yields lower
2. Economic Slowdown: prolonged trade conflict can create global economic concerns, causing central banks (incl. the Fed) to reconsider rate hikes & even implement rate cuts, reducing borrowing costs further
And viola, with the chaos of the trade war, the 10-year Treasury yield dropped below 4% today. Lower 10-year yields mean lower future refinancing costs, helping the US gov manage its refinancing wall. But, this is a piece in solving for the massive debt puzzle.

There's an alternative — or parallel — path to manage interest payments without inciting market chaos: Bitcoin-backed bonds.
In a new Bitcoin Policy Institute report, Andrew Hohn & @nprofile…mgt6 propose "Bitcoin-Enhanced Treasury Bonds." They recommend that 90% of bond proceeds finance standard gov operations or refinance existing debt, & 10% be allocated toward acquiring Bitcoin to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. By issuing these bonds at a significantly lower interest rate—such as 1% compared to current rates—the gov can substantially cut its debt-servicing expenses. Furthermore, considering Bitcoin’s historical performance, BitBonds have the potential to considerably reduce or even eliminate the federal debt burden over time.
Adopting Bitcoin-enhanced bonds could thus offer the US a financial advantage, aligning debt management with a new era of fiscal and monetary policy.
Interesting footnote:
It is worth going through the literature of the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century to see how the words "democracy" and "democrat" appear exclusively as terms of contumely and reprehension.
They served this purpose for a long time both in England and America, much as the terms "bolshevism" and "bolshevist" serve us now. They were subsequently taken over to become what Bentham called "impostor-terms”, in behalf of the existing economic and political order, as synonymous with a purely nominal republicanism. They are now used regularly in this way to describe the political system of the United States, even by persons who should know better-even, curiously, by persons like Bertrand Russell and Mr. Laski, who have little sympathy with the existing order. One sometimes wonders how our revolutionary forefathers would take it if they could hear some flatulent political thimblerigger charge them with having founded "the great and glorious democracy of the West.

1.煲耳朵，随时随地，量变引起质变。
2.翻译英文课本，翻译成中文，合上课本然后翻译成英语，对比差距，至少翻译两遍，高中课本更明显。
3.看美剧和好莱坞电影，看到地道的表达，按暂停，在手机中记录下来。养成习惯。习惯用语的表达。

川普研究对等关税几十年了，可以说是全世界最懂关税的人。华尔街这些所谓经济学家几十年来一直在误导民众，制造业外迁彻底摧毁了美国的中产阶层。所以竞选时，川普老头和媒体主编的辩论，特朗普获得了绝大多数美国企业家的支持。什么叫自由贸易？关税对等和贸易平衡是常识。美国一直对其他国家实施优惠关税，这是一种善意，不是一种义务。美国陷入严重债务危机面临破产风险与不对等关税有很大关系，特别是还要承担许多其他国家的防务，所以，特朗普更多的是针对欧洲日韩。迄今承诺投资美国的已达四万多亿，另外特朗普的能源政策和打击气候变暖大骗局的行动不但会促进美国的制造业，也会降低全球百姓的生活成本。卡塔尔居然是在美国大学中出钱，最多支持反犹行动的，我在想为什么。油价一直居高不下，最受益的当然是中东阿拉伯国家，什么都不干，就可以享受最好的生活。这是全球贸易中最不公平的。中国有机俗话，获利者疑，高度怀疑中东各国从来不想中东有和平，越乱越好.
I remember back when Israel went into Gaza, and markets took a hit, bitcoin was down notably and many tradfi macro folks who I otherwise respect for good market analysis were like “Why is bitcoin down today? I thought it’s a safe haven, lol.”
Similarly, today when bitcoin is up amid market turmoil, the bitcoin bulls celebrate it.
I’d be cautious about all one-day moves. If you over-emphasize them, you risk looking like someone with a memory of a goldfish, or otherwise operating with selection bias.
However, a point I have made in the past, and will repeat today, is that there are different types of risk-off events. A risk-off event that hurts liquidity is likely to hurt bitcoin. A risk-off event that demands more liquidity, or that is unrelated to liquidity (eg tariffs attacking corporate margins), is more likely to benefit or at least kind of spare Bitcoin.
Focusing on Bitcoin as a risk on or risk off asset is first level thinking. People who understand it deeply and self custody it tend to view it as risk off period, for good reason. But not always in terms of price. In terms of price, whether it functions as a risk on/off asset varies based on what type of risk on/off catalyst it was.
This catalyst risks hitting margins, not liquidity, and thus so far the reaction makes sense. But it still pays to be careful not to celebrate one-day moves too much.
Cautiously bullish.
