Donald Trump promised that the US will become the crypto capital of the world.
He promised to have reserves in #BTC and pay off debt with “crypto checks”.
What does all this mean?
He said that he would take control of part of the crypto space and convert the dollar monetary system to a new one.
He also said he won't allow #CBDCs, but that doesn't mean he can't back the current dollar with BTC and then issue Bitcoin-backed digital dollars. He will say this is not CBDC, it is commodity-backed money as it was before 1970, and it is hard money.
This new dollar makes sense if it is worth more than the current dollar, e.g. 1 edollar = 10,000 USD, and this means liquefying U S. debts and screwing the T-bond creditors.
Now, many are excited about the BTC price explosion (measured in fiat, of course). They are thinking of fiat investments rather than a sovereign payment system.
When the biggest BTC hash rate is in the U.S., the government will impose on-chain KYC on the country's miners (the government will want control, as always), and then higher taxes and more oversight on transactions.
That's when the real value of #Monero will be seen.

A currency must maintain a stable exchange value against the goods and services of the economy in order to be useful as a medium of exchange.
To do so, it must be in demand.
Do we need stablecoins in the crypto space?
No, they are a simplification to sustain the current Blockchain industry model for DeFi and product payments.
This model, with stablecoins perpetuates the current system and leads us straight to banking 3.0.
The solution is the use of cryptocurrencies in a parallel economy, the counter economy, in which the demand for crypto money unrelated to fiat money generates its own quote against market goods and services.
Could this counter-economic model be massive?
I don't think so, but if cryptocurrencies are used in it they will have price stability against the products in that economic system.

How Will #Monero Be Attacked?
First of all I want to tell you that this is not teaching the network attackers, the central regulators. They already know how to attack the network, they are just preparing.

1. Individual prosecution of developers, founders and CEOs of centralized and decentralized platforms, on the grounds of money laundering and tax evasion.
2. Spam attacks, DDoS, price manipulation to generate crashes that take away liquidity to provoke economic pressure on the system, and media lobby to impose the idea of criminal use of these untraceable networks.
3. Increased blockchain industry specific laws in developed countries prohibiting non-traceable Blockchains and mining. KYC on-line for all traceable Blockchains.
4. Massive delisting of $XMR on centralized exchanges in different countries (not all).
5. Censorship and shutdown of sites and platforms that promote Monero and/or trade $XMR
6. Monero will be banned and deleted on GitHub and others centralized repositories, to avoid its development.

The resilience of #Monero
Monero has demonstrated its ability to face strong challenges this early year.
In February Binance, the world's largest exchange, delisted $XMR and caused a ~30% drop in the cryptocurrency's price by exiting this speculative market, rebounding today, recovering more than half of its drop in just 1 month.
Then, in the last few weeks there was a sudden increase in transactions per block of 4x the daily average, and the network was able to process them without major inconvenience thanks to its dynamic block size.
At this point it is unclear whether this explosive growth in transactions is organic or some kind of flood or spam attack or stress testing by unknown parties.
