He quit school after grade 9 to help on the family farm, suffered from a physical disability due to polio since childhood, endured a broken neck in a car accident, had his family destroyed by the inflation of the 70's and never once complained.
He bought me my first computer in the mid 80's and told me that it was the future. I know he would have been a Bitcoiner. He was always willing to help, and gave me my work ethic of an honest days work for an honest days pay. His best advice was this. "If you don't enjoy your job, quit. You'll be miserable from the moment you get out of bed until you get home. Go find something you want to do".
His passing on Easter Saturday long ago when I was a young man is my reminder of a life well lived with dignity, respect and love. 4 years ago today I bought my first amount of #Bitcoin
I've never sold a single satoshi.
I bought to the top and back to the bottom. While I believe I have a good grasp of it I'm still learning.
From a complete noob to a co-host of our local #Bitcoin meet up. It's been an amazing journey for me personally. I'm looking forward to the next cycle. Lfg!

After the rug pull last year, there's zero chance I'd consider attending the Bitcoin rodeo in Calgary this year. After making my early purchase for a full price ticket, they then offered a 2for1 deal which made my ticket worthless for resale upon learning I could not attend the event. They got desperate to put people in the seats. Read: no money.
Fuck them.
Hardly a wonder @BTCsessions didn't put a workshop on during the event.

As each trading day passes more #Bitcoin will be taken off the market by asset managers for their ETFs. We are in the early stages of the upcoming supply shock. Already they are buying up more than the daily issuance of #Bitcoin It's not difficult to see where this leads to. Come April when the daily issuance is cut in half, the supply/demand part of the equation will be more prominent. Govern yourself accordingly.

I'm far more inclined to look at an ad if I'm paid to do so. My time has value. So does yours. If advertisers want to 'spam' me with sats to look at their product, I'm all for it. I'll then decide if the payment properly compensates me for my time to look at the ad. The more I'm paid to look at an ad, the better chance I'll look at it.

Saturday morning thoughts.
Form vs Function.
Save for a few additional keys, the typewriter function hasn't changed. The standard English language layout is qwerty. The form has changed however, with keyboards, laptops, cell phones all using versions of the initial layout.
IMO, the same thing applies to money. The function of money remains the same. We mutually agree to what is considered 'money' of the day be it beads, gold, fiat, or #Bitcoin and then complete our transactions. Same function, different from.
For some, the transition to the new 'form' of money remains foreign. They'll catch up, eventually. Happy Saturday. 😊

IMO, The Blackrock (among others) lane change from the ESG narrative to Bitcoin is the signal the bottom is in.
They enforced ESG policies worldwide via international credit scores, for one reason only. Profit. Now they are abandoning ESG as we speak.
The majority of people will never own a full Bitcoin. The best news is they won't have to.
