That is if you are a shitcoin.
Sure, right now it's impossible to keep up because Bitcoin is too new. But if we were 200 years in the future and Bitcoin was widely adopted, it's value would be considered stable. Maybe a 2% raise year over year.
I think many people in that case would be capable of taking 2% value year over year and keep their prices stable.
That wouldn't work for commodities, but if we were fully hyperbitcoinzed right now, I think companies like Hermès would keep their prices stable in Bitcoin instead of adjusting their prices for inflation.
But yeah, right now we find ourselves to have to adjust prices. And not just 1 time a year. But that's what we meant. We have to do it manually or else our prices, in fiat, are going up.

I'm thinking a lot about just putting my prices in $ like a normal person.
It wasn't that bad in a bear/crab market but I'm not crazy enough to think I can keep up in a bull market. Maybe next cycle but not this one.

About 2 years ago I was living in my car for fun with some bitcoin in my head. But my dumbass started leverage trading (gambling) again and I lost pretty much everything.
So I didn't waste a single second and started to build somethings to get back on my feets. I took the first place I could immediately start to work in. There was no time to waste. It was a divine coincidentally that this place was a very old tannery.
250 sqft, no lock on my door, no private bathroom, no shower, no kitchen.
It was dumb. I know it was. But I didn't care. I didn't care until it had been 1 year. The last 6 month have been rough and now I have to make the decision and move. Move to build back better. In a place with higher vibes and I feel safe and comfortable.
1.5 years ago I was basically homeless as a doordash driver with ZERO experience in leathercraft and since then I built theleathermint.com

These Q cases I sell aren't the most complex construction, but each of them still contains a non-negligeable amount of work due to the tight 3mm spacing I use between each stitch.
I just ran the numbers and each of them contains about 174 stitch all individually done by hand.

I really do feel like I'm changing the game for Bitcoin stores.

(It dosen't look like much but their is over 50 units at the store ready to be sold)
For starters, I know I'm the merchant providing him the largest profit margin and I'm not doing so on low value items. I know I can make a difference in his bottom line and I'm proud of it.
Secondly, I offer an infinite amount of variety. Different color combinations, different leather, different model... the limit is out of sight.
Year over year, the store will be offering something different to see, touch and even smell. Leather is a multi sensorial experience and it will bring life into the store.
To conclude, what I offer goes beyond Bitcoin. Not only is it a perfect souvenir for a Bitcoiner in vacation but it is ideal for your dad or brother when looking for that Christmas gift you can't find. This will allow the store to, by proxy, sell to normies and grow their potential sales opportunities.
For all these reasons I believe I can play a key part in the financial success of those stores, allowing them to not only stay solvent but grow while focusing on their personal mission, which is to promote and teach how to reach financial sovereignty through Bitcoin.
