Once upon a time, a young man named Homocryptus set out on a journey to Los Angeles to find the answers he was searching for. He had come to LA twice, once to follow the love of a girl and once to pursue an idea he was passionate about. In December 2016, Homocryptus took a big risk and put everything on the line, using money he received as a gift for his master's degree to fund his startup and survive. Potentially controversial take for Damus:
I've decided to remove ALL financial-market tracking apps from my phone.
I'll still use them, but only via desktop/laptop browser during intentional, structured time.
I see more personal harm than benefit from having them immediately accessible anytime and anywhere.
Still keeping some social apps like Damus and Farcaster on my phone but let’s see in the next few months or if I’m gonna move to web:)
