Most of my skills were born from passions, and they have grown by themself. i think it is the good way to keep going on your path.
You can also discover and learn skill from others, sometimes a simple meet is a complete game changer.
The only point that matter is that you are the only one to know deeply what is good for you.

even then, one i just made for a key/value index key codec only came out to 326 lines, and the benefit of it is that the type of index is clear, there is a function to create the variables for the index type, a function that makes an encoder, and a function that makes a decoder (difference being one sets the prefix, the other just makes an empty prefix to read in).
because the names are really clear and static checking highlights when i'm using the wrong one it makes mistakes harder to make.
dynamic typing doesn't give you this kind of compile time safety checks, one of the reasons why i don't like dynamic typing languages. the rustaceans like to use the word "safety" but i think really it's a category of "correctness" which i think is much more important than safety. a gun is an unsafe machine, but it has to be correct or it becomes even more unsafe.

my limit is around 600, due to cases where the code is very repetitive but creates an API that compile-time type checks for you. often these can be generated as well, using templates, but if the file doesn't pass my limit it's not worth the extra time.
one nice thing is now that go has generics, quite a few of the cases that required code generators are now handled automagically with generic type parameters. unfortunately they can't be used on methods, only functions, which breaks up the elegance of a nice type implementation. but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. i'm betting that eventually they will figure out a way to allow type parameters on methods. i think the thing is that they haven't incorporated generic parameters as a part of the interface function signature processing yet.

Dal fry
Ingredients:
1 cup Toor dal
2-1/2 cups Water
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Turmeric
3 tbs Ghee
1 cup Chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
2 Bay Leaf
1 tbs chopped Green Chilli
2 tsp shredded Ginger
2 tbs Cilantro
1/2 tsp Red Pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
Instructions:
Wash and soak toor dal in approx. 3 cups of water, for at least one hours. Dal will be double in volume after soaking. Drain the water.
Cook dal with 2-1/2 cups water and add salt, turmeric, on medium high heat, until soft in texture (approximately 30 mins) it should be like thick soup.
In a frying pan, heat the ghee. Add cumin seeds, and mustard seeds. After the seeds crack, add bay leaves, green chili, ginger and chili powder. Stir for a few seconds.
Add tomatoes, salt and sugar stir and cook until tomatoes are tender and mushy.
Add cilantro and garam masala cook for about one minute.
Pour the seasoning over dal mix it well and cook for another minute.
Serve with Naan.

It's a relatively hyperbolic assertion that Bitcoin will end war, like, "Fix the money, fix the world." But it holds a lot of truth because people are largely motivated by the rewards of the systems they are immersed in relative to their perceptions.
Fiat currency incentives war because it's a blank check for those who control the money printer, that is, it's an incentive for bad ideas because reality punishes bad ideas, but for a brief time people can personally avoid the consequences of their currency printing and war mongering by robbing the value of their currency through currency debasement. When governments can't use their money printer to finance their bad ideas, including war, then they are forced to turn to other forms of resolving conflicts or solving problems besides using force and/or fear.
Historically money/treasure/valuables or currency has been physical in nature, which incentivized violence because if I kill you, I get your stuff. Now, if I kill you and you hold most of your value in Bitcoin (spiritual money) rather than a house or goods or cars, I don't get your value, which is a disincentive to violence.
But also, in the long run since government will be financed by proof of work and influence and not coercion, the Bitcoin system will gradually incentive character and competence in government, both local and national, because it will be easier to defund and fire and geo-arbitrage out of the jurisdiction of those who make poor choices based on bad ideas. Government in this Bitcoin incentivized system, will no longer be a monopoly, and will be compelled to compete for citizens by setting up conditions that are favorable to their constituents.
Furthermore, as more countries and localities and companies and families go on the Bitcoin standard, waging war against another government would become waging war against another party using Bitcoin, which violates self-interest because they are using the same monetary system. It's the opposite of what Ayn Rand said, which is something like nations that don't trade goods will trade bullets. Since nations will trade goods and Bitcoin, they won't trade bullets.

Why I think it's lovely people on nostr say GM.
A little philosophy I've held for a long time (that has served me well) is that a happy life comes from exposing yourself to more little uplifts than downlifts.
Living in a rough area, have a job you hate, and being unhealthy relationships, life becomes full of small downlifts, and before you know it, you hit rock bottom and feel horrible. It can be everyday things, like neighbours shouting at each other or your boss treating you poorly. Not one thing is terrible, but together they make you burn out.
IF you tip the balance and expose yourself to more uplifts, like finding a safe place to live, building healthy relationships, or having a job you don't hate, then before you know it, you're on top of the world.
The beauty is that you can create uplifts for others through simple gestures, like saying GM, and in fact saying GM is a two way uplift.
I find traditional social media is full of downlifts, whereas Nostr is full of uplifts.

You have to record your instrument to a metronome and send it to the next guy in an agreed upon format...
But that means each musician participating in the collaboration has to have multitrack recording software and be willing to take the time to craft/hone their part.
