I Woke up early, went for a walk with my furry companion, I smelled from far sweet Elderflowers...On the way home I collected some Elderflowers and made myself a delicious tea (drinking it, while writing this).
When using fresh and delicate flowers I recommended using hot water up to max. 80°C (176F), to preserve the delicate aromas and achieve a smooth, soothing taste 🌱

Uff, it looks really delicious!! But I don't do oven or high heat anymore, as I avoid heating food to high temperatures in order to keep the nutrients and enzymes alive :) But I know that heated, boiled, and baked food tastes great and even makes kind of addcited! Since I eat only raw food, I don't eat eggplant, neither raw or dehydrated, as it's not as digestible, as if it were cooked.
Btw. I used to make eggplant salad too...and same as the recipe but added some tahini (sesame nut butter) ;)

It's basically just carrots thinly sliced into strips with a peeler, then marinated with lemon juice, smoked salt, smoked paprika, a bit of tamari sauce, and a shredded nori sheet (seaweed). Then I put it in the dehydrator for a few hours. After that I add olive oil.

My father has been collecting cacti his entire life. He's already drastically reduced his collection, as he has to transport them into the wintergarden every winter to protect them from the cold, and then back out again in spring. It's very energy-consuming, and he's not the youngest anymore. He's given cacti away to botanical gardens, universities, and private individuals, yet the cactus table is still full! He knows every single cactus he has, where he collected it, and the story behind it. It's his passion.
And every now and then he sends me photos of the flowering cacti and tells me stories about them. He brought one from Mexico shortly before I was born; another he dug up as a child, carried it home in his pocket, and then replanted there; He also has succulents which one of them came from an aunt's house in London, once he help cleaning and took a little peace from it home.
It's simply fascinating, and I felt like sharing this with you today 💜💚

Yesterday, while looking for some sunshine, I was sitting on a chair in a churchyard, and these beautiful flowers were growing in front of me. I appreciate this churchyard when I can spend my lunchtime outside because it's bright, there are lots of plants growing around, and there are chairs to rest on. And after all it's quiet (as long as the church bells aren't ringing) 😉

The cleaner our body is...the better it flows. Juice fasting might helpt to get the system flowing. Cramps are not the norm. We can do something. Also raspberry of gemmotherapy can really help, raspberry leaves, magnesium... And breathing deeply, relaxing, warmth etc. <3

You know what's totally crazy? A while ago, I had a volunteer who came to help me around the house and garden. I had a curtain I'd started sewing but still needed to finish it. I didn't have a sewing machine at the time, so I gave her a needle and thread. She stood there and asked me, "And now what? She seriously didn't know how to thread a needle!!! And she was 20 years old! It's pretty crazy when you don't learn such important things at home or at school anymore :(

Every morning I rinse my sprouts...
Harvesting every few days...so I never run out of fresh sprouts 🥗
Today: Mung beans! I love how they look...reminds me of little lizards or dragons or something like it 🤩
They grow really quickly...Soaking 12 hours, then rinsing twice a day, then harvesting after around 4-5 days. They can be harvesting even earlier... but I like them a little bigger.

Sharing my gourmet meal from a few days a go... It's all raw, vegan and organic as always ;) And home made from scratch...
I use seeds and nuts, vegetables and spices, and grind everything coarsely and briefly in a blender. I add a little water and form it into patties, falafels, or burgers. Top with homemade wild garlic pesto. Next to it, I served a salad with raw green asparagus, shaped with a round cookie mold :) And topped with homemade pickled tomatoes. It looks little...but since the small round patties are full of nuts and seeds, they are really filling :)
Oh by the way: The patties are half dried in the dehydrator for around 5-7 hours!

Today, I’d like to share a moment of joy with you.
Over the past few years, I’ve had to face many challenges and still am – situations and experiences that often leaves me restless. But yesterday was a special day, filled with joy.
A few days ago, I had a sudden flash of inspiration: a project took shape clearly in my mind, and I immediately felt the urge to bring it to life as soon as possible. For that, I needed fabric – and most importantly, a sewing machine. Ideally a simple one, since those are the ones I’m most familiar with. Of course, I could have sewn it by hand, but after all these years without a machine, the longing to finally use one again was simply too strong.
So I posted in various groups, asking if someone could lend me a sewing machine. No one responded. Then I tried in a chat with my work team – and sure enough, a woman replied right away and offered to bring me her machine by car. She had bought it from someone but had never used it herself. It had been sitting in her studio, and just a week ago she had moved it into her garage – at home, not far from me.
Ten minutes later, she stood at my door – with a wonderful, old and fully functional sewing machine. And I was able to start working on my first prototype right away! What a gift. Truly – what a gift.
I firmly believe: when a wish comes from deep within the heart and you can feel the tingeling in every cell of your being, all the energies of the quantum field align. Then things fall into place with ease.
I am so grateful – for my clear thoughts and ideas, the courage to keep creating new things, and the trust that everything is unfolding just as it should.
