They’re showing there’s no real need to buy crypto just to earn staking yield.
Ethereum offers roughly 3%, Solana 5-7%, XRP around 5%, and ADA about 4% in staking yield, all while taking on blockchain risk and big token price volatility (mostly to the downside). The staking yield is backed by the token, and the token’s value is backed by the yield.
Treasury companies are keeping their stock token stable-ish, and their stock token is backed by Bitcoin. Their business model is just superior to what web3 offers. They're the new alt-coin.
Ironic because the web3 ecosystem is all about replacing the financial system with other fiat shenanigans. Now they're tokenizing on top of STRC to boost their yield offer, because their tokens are on life support.

Thanks for reaching out! No restarts. My alby hub nwc zaps work normally with other clients. But it stopped at some point with amethyst. It wasn't even connected to the amethyst update. I've just updated to the newest version and it seems to be the same issue – it tries to zap, the wheel starts to fill, but stops and stays like this forever. No error message. I had to switch to other clients to be able to zap from my hub. I did try creating a new nwc connection. Talked to the alby support. Nothing helped so far.
Now I'm going to make yet another nwc connection and see if this helps with the newest amethyst.
I'm also using amber, just realised that it might have something to do with it.
Calls seem to be in dms with specific npub. It asks me for location though??

I am happy to announce NIP-44 v3: a new encryption standard for Nostr that fixes many of the shortcomings of NIP-44 v2.
This fixes the main problem with encryption today, which is that you cannot allow an application to encrypt/decrypt only some kinds.
This opens up users to risks where applications can exfiltrate private information like DMs, even if you just wanted to allow access to modify your encrypted lists.

Comet R3 PanSTARRS might be best remembered as an Orion comet. A key reason is because Comet C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS) was near its most spectacular -- in terms of tail visibility -- when passing in front of the iconic constellation . Although rare, other bright comets , too, have ventured across Orion, including Lovejoy in 2015 , Hale-Bopp in 1997 , and the Great Comet of 1264 . Best visible in long duration exposures, the featured image was captured last week from the Craigieburn Mountain Range in New Zealand . Visible in the deep background image are the Orion Nebula , Barnard's Loop , and through R3's tail, the bright star Saiph , the sixth brightest star in the constellation of Orion. Comet R3 PanSTARRS continues to fade as it moves further south, passing into the constellation of the Unicorn ( Monoceros ) in the next few days.

When I realized last year that NIP-3 didn't include the signature in the hash I just started hashing this random string '{"ID":"<hex>","sig":"<hex>"}' during experiments. I then kind of forgot about it can never changed it. The proofs that have been produced with this are just experiments, no need for these to survive.

I’ve decided to put more focus on solving bigger problems going forward. I’ll still ship my apps but I’ll increasingly tackle harder problems, specifically health, affordability, access to things one typically might not afford.
Building another app in parallel that tracks all your health kind of like the health app on iOS but will eventually utilize custom models to provide advanced diagnosis. Won’t be called diagnosis obviously for various reasons.
