I myself am quite sleep deprived cuz my stupid ass didn't go to bed in a reasonable time frame and the previously mentioned news didn't really make catching refreshing sleep any easier.
Tiktok has a huge advantage in having so much licensed music they can offer, all of which came at the premium expense of purchasing Musical.ly. Though it's funny to imagine a scrolling banner and super long npub floating across the shared videos. Despite being obnoxious, it's a great onboarding strategy, and doubles for creator discovery. (Users sign up to follow their creator which shared the video elsewhere)
Of course any Nostr client can opt for a pet name or otherwise which might serve as @handles on videos like that.
It would be interesting to see Nostr take on a similar role by employing something like stemstr.app to crowdsource audio for content creation in a tiktok-like client. An app serving tiktok video creation would also open the door for a generated-effects economy model.
Let's also not forget that Reddit serves 1B annual users simply by aggregating hyperlinks and offering collapsible comment sections 😶

I am a christian and a history buff who has done informal studies throughout my whole life.
Over many years I have grown to disdain "christianity" as a form of groupthink identities who base and articulate all their beliefs and theories on what I assume is leftover from revivalism and experiential salvation.
I do not mind when people have experiences which convince them of the existence and power of god. The contention comes when these same people want you to believe with them by virtue of their experience. This is evidence of a shallow understanding of christianity, these christians who use emotional appeals instead of objective facts then make christianity appear so flawed and retarded that other religious groups find it easy to ridicule and dismiss without proper arguments or assertions of their own.
I have also studied the Quran as a historical document because I was frequently challenged by Muslims on the basis of my race (believe it or not) and they were always very surprised at my responses. They assumed I would just flop like a fish and did not expect that I could through simple quotes from the Quran make them realise how flippant and petty their arguments against my supposed faith were.
Alex Connor is a relatively prominant social media personality and I enjoy watching his material. Not because he convinces me of his "beliefs/assertions" that the gospels are mostly a fairy tale but because he proves that most christians are superficial in their understanding of their faith and rightly mocks their bravado, ignorance and general lack of reasoning applied when making absolutist claims.
This has been my bane, people who speak with a confident authoritarian air about matters they know nothing about. It is impossible to debate this type of person because they are intellectual dead ends who either run away from superior reasoning or just simply scream about your heresy.
Challenging the status quo is the best test of truth and its veracity. We need more not less debate, contentious debate.
Recently a character called Wesley Huff has gone viral and I have found him to be intellectually honest, sincere highly qualified, so far.
My personal "heresy" is that I contend that there is a non zero chance that Satoshi Nakamoto could be the second coming of Christ Jesus. I am willing to debate and contend with counter arguments, assess evidence that states otherwise etc.
I do not want Satoshi to be Jesus, I do not need Satoshi to be Jesus. I am just captured by the idea that it is possible and I can point to textual president.
Let's not be emotional about this. Let us reason together. Is my plea.
Don't follow christianity, challenge it with the intent to discover truth. The truth is always good, wheither it fits your narrative or discounts your beliefs.

I don't know what you expect; but this doesn't seem surprising.
These LLMs simply digest and regurgitate "likely" word patterns. If you feed it "data" (nostr notes, in this case) from any group with a bias, you're going to get the boiled down version -- a summary, if you will -- of those biases.
Given that nostr notes are generated by people who generally have a higher distrust of "The Narrative" as presented by governments, main-stream media, etc., you're going to see that reflected in the output of an LLM trained with that data.
The mere fact that many of LLM's responses to the faith-related questions start with "I believe ..." is enough to make me question the validity of the model as a source of unbiased output. And I'm fully in the "There is a God" and "God has a plan for us" camp.

My question is, is that the percent of users willing to zap? Or is that the percent of users who have Bitcoin and are willing to zap? It only scales if more people with Bitcoin become willing to spend it. Doesn’t matter how many users there are or how much content they publish if you only have a few hundred people who both have sats AND are willing to spend them.

Trumps außenpolitische Drohungen
Grönland, Kanada, Panama
Trumps Ankündigung, Grönland und den Panamakanal notfalls mit Gewalt zu annektieren und Kanada als 51. Bundesstaat an die USA anschließen zu wollen, haben international Wellen geschlagen. In Russland wird mit einer Mischung aus Besorgnis und Belustigung berichtet.

Auch in Russland war Trumps Ankündigung, Grönland und den Panamakanal notfalls mit Gewalt zu annektieren und Kanada als 51. Bundesstaat an die USA anschließen zu wollen, ein großes Thema. Um zu zeigen, wie das in Russland aufgenommen wurde, übersetze ich hier den recht langen Beitrag, der am Sonntag dazu im wöchentlichen Nachrichtenrückblick des russischen Fernsehens dazu gezeigt wurde. Er bestand aus einer langen und sehr interessanten Anmoderation im Studio und dem Bericht des russischen USA-Korrespondenten.

Machtwechsel in den USA: Trump genießt es, Bidens Erbe zu zerstören
In den USA vollzieht sich ein Wandel. Der moderne russische Denker Alexander Dugin nannte diesen Prozess auf Englisch „bro-revolution“, also „Revolution der Jungs“. Unter Trump wird all der Mist abgeschafft, über den wir lange gelacht haben, von Quoten in Unternehmen für Schwule und Lesben bis hin zu Toiletten nach Wahl, je nachdem, als wer man sich gerade fühlt. Alles von der irren Zensur in Medien und sozialen Netzwerken bis zur absurden Energiepolitik.
Trumps Ziel kann klarer nicht sein: Er will Amerika handlungsfähig, gesammelt und sehr rational machen. Dazu will er sein Territorium radikal erweitern und Kanada, Grönland und Panama und vielleicht sogar Mexiko einverleiben. Er will sich einen möglichst großen Anteil an den Bodenschätzen der Welt aneignen und sich einfach bereichern. Das ist der Plan und das Werkzeug der US-Weltherrschaft für die Zukunft. Es ist schamlos.
Amerika hat nicht genug Lebensraum. Dass das bei einigen sehr direkte historische Assoziationen weckt, spielt keine Rolle. Es führt direkt zum Ziel! Es gibt keine Hemmungen. Grönland gehört zu Dänemark? Lächerlich.
Kanada ist Mitglied des britischen Commonwealth und das Staatsoberhaupt Kanadas ist formell der britische König Charles III, und Großbritannien ist der engste Verbündete der USA? Nach dem Tod von Elisabeth II. hat der kanadische Premierminister Karl III. schriftlich zum Staatsoberhaupt Kanadas ernannt. Aber wer in den USA würde König Charles III fragen? Und was ist für Trump ein so lächerliches Relikt wie die britische Monarchie?
Amerika verändert sich wirklich, sowohl nach außen als auch im Inneren.
Der gewählte US-Präsident fragte rhetorisch: „Unter der Trump-Administration wird es die offizielle Politik der amerikanischen Regierung sein, dass es nur zwei Geschlechter gibt: männlich und weiblich. Das klingt doch nicht besonders kompliziert, oder?“
Es wird erwartet, dass Trump bis zu 15.000 Transgender-Personen aus der US-Armee entlässt, weil sie aus medizinischen Gründen nicht diensttauglich sind. Sie denken über das Falsche nach, anstatt sich auf den Krieg vorzubereiten. Dazu sagte Trump:
„Wir werden diesen Transgender-Wahnsinn stoppen. Und ich werde Dekrete unterzeichnen, die eine Geschlechtsumwandlung bei Kindern verbieten. Ich werde Transgender-Personen aus dem Militär, aus den Grundschulen, aus den Mittelschulen und aus den High Schools werfen. Und wir werden keine Männer im Frauensport haben. Und das wird am ersten Tag geschehen. Müssen wir auf den zweiten oder dritten Tag warten? Besser gleich am ersten Tag, oder?“
Apropos Männer im Frauensport. Trump spielt damit eindeutig auf die Olympischen Spiele in Paris im vergangenen Jahr an, wo ein Onkel aus Algerien, der sich als Frau namens Iman Khelif ausgab, das schwache Geschlecht vernichtete. Der Kampf mit der Italienerin Angela Carni dauerte zum Beispiel nur 46 Sekunden. Sie gab mit den Worten „Das ist unfair“ auf.
Das Thema Transgender klingt aus Trumps Mund für die amerikanischen Liberalen wie ein Donnerschlag, schließlich wäre ein solcher Diskurs vor nicht allzu langer Zeit in den sozialen Medien automatisch zensiert worden. Aber jetzt geht Mark Zuckerberg an die Öffentlichkeit und gibt zu, dass die Zensur in seinem digitalen Imperium dem Grundgedanken der Meinungsfreiheit widerspricht. Und er beklagt sich über den Druck der Vergangenheit:
„Regierungen und traditionelle Medien haben immer mehr Zensur gefordert“, sagte Mark Zuckerberg.
Als der Medientycoon den Druck der Regierung auf ihn erwähnte, erinnerte er sich sicher daran, wie er im April 2018 gezwungen war, zu einer demütigenden Befragung im Demokratischen US-Kongress zu erscheinen und seine Kleiderordnung – das übliche T-Shirt – durch einen Anzug mit Fischgrätenkrawatte zu ersetzen. Daraufhin wurde sein Bild in der Presse als „I’m sorry suit“, als „Tut-mir-leid-Anzug“, bezeichnet.
Im Ergebnis kämpfte Zuckerberg, ob gewollt oder ungewollt, mindestens ein Jahrzehnt lang gegen Trump und löschte ihn am Ende seiner letzten Amtszeit als Präsident sogar ganz. Und jetzt die formelle Entschuldigung in Mar-a-Lago und ein Treueeid. Wahrlich ein Wandel.
„Wir werden mit Präsident Trump zusammenarbeiten, um uns gegen Regierungen in Ländern zu wehren, die gegen amerikanische Unternehmen vorgehen, um noch mehr Zensur durchzusetzen“, versprach Mark Zuckerberg.
Jesse Watters, Moderator von Fox News, kommentierte das so:
„Mark Zuckerberg hat fast ein Jahrzehnt damit verbracht, den Widerstand gegen Trump im Silicon Valley anzuführen, er hat trotz der Laptop-Geschichte mit dem FBI zusammengearbeitet, er hat alles, was Trump gesagt hat, jahrelang überprüft, er hat es auf Facebook gepostet, während er noch im Amt war. Aber jetzt ist es vorbei. Zuckerberg wird zum Konservativen.“
Viele bekannte Unternehmen verweigern sich diesem Unsinn in Form von Quoten für die obligatorische Vertretung von Minderheiten aller Art in ihren Reihen jetzt öffentlich. McDonald’s, Microsoft, Google und Meta, Walmart, Ford Motors, John Deere und Harley-Davidson. Das ist keine vollständige Liste.
Auch die BLM-Bewegung, Black Lives Matter, ist ebenfalls auf dem Weg in den Untergang, dabei haben sie in den letzten zwei Jahren der ersten Amtszeit von Präsident Trump einen regelrechten Amoklauf veranstaltet, bei dem sie Weiße mitten auf der Straße auf die Knie zwangen und Reue für die jahrhundertelange Sklaverei forderten. Und die Pogrome und Plünderungen von Geschäften? Und die öffentliche Fußwaschung von Schwarzen durch weiße Polizeibeamte? Trump hat all das nicht vergessen.
Dasselbe gilt für einen der reichsten Männer der Welt, den Amazon-Gründer und Eigentümer der Washington Post, Jeff Bezos, der einst ein unerbittlicher Gegner von Trump war. Bezos verklagte sogar die Trump-Regierung. Und jetzt das:
„Herzlichen Glückwunsch an den 45. und jetzt 47. Präsidenten zu einem außergewöhnlichen politischen Comeback und einem entscheidenden Sieg! Ich bin voller Hoffnung. Er scheint eine Menge Energie zu haben, was den Abbau von Regulierungen angeht. Und ich denke, wenn ich ihm dabei helfen kann, werde ich ihm helfen, denn wir haben zu viele Beschränkungen in diesem Land“, schrieb Jeff Bezos.
Trump selbst genießt es, Bidens Erbe zu zerstören. Er versprach:
„Bidens gestrige Entscheidung, ich meine das Verbot von Offshore-Bohrungen, wird nicht durchgesetzt werden, ich werde es sofort rückgängig machen. Ich werde es sofort rückgängig machen, und wir werden bohren, Baby, bohren und nochmals bohren. Wir werden das Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska für den Abbau öffnen. Wir werden Dinge tun, die bisher als undenkbar galten.“
Ja, die „grüne“ Energie der Demokraten ist für Trump pure Absurdität. Dazu sagte er:
„Und wir sollten auch über Windturbinen sprechen. Sie verstopfen einfach unser Land. Überall verstreut, wie Papier, wie Müll auf einem Feld. Und das im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Das ist die teuerste Energie von allen. Deshalb werden wir versuchen, dafür zu sorgen, dass keine weiteren Windturbinen gebaut werden.“
Es überrascht nicht, dass Amerikas größte Industrieunternehmen diese Wende mit Erleichterung aufgenommen haben. Viele geben ihre „grünen“ Verpflichtungen zur Erreichung der sogenannten „CO2-Neutralität“ auf. Einige vollkommen, und einige verschieben sie bis 2050, aber es gilt das Gesetz des britischen Historikers Cyril Parkinson: „Später heißt nie“.
Das sind nur einige, die den neuen Wind in ihren Segeln spüren: Google und Microsoft, Amazon, Pepsi, ExxonMobil, sowie die sechs größten US-Banken. Und dann sind da noch Ford, Proctor & Gamble, Paramount Global, KFC. Dann sind da noch McDonald’s, Mars, Levi Strauss und viele andere. Überall kursieren im Moment Listen. Der Trend ist offensichtlich.
Unser USA-Korrespondent vertieft und erweitert das Thema in seinem Beitrag.
Sei realistisch, fordere das Unmögliche. Der Slogan des Pariser Mai 1968 und, im Falle von Trumps Revolution in Amerika, des Jahres 2025 nimmt Gestalt an. Auf der Titelseite der New York Post ist der Umriss der neuen Donroe-Doktrin in Form einer Landkarte zu sehen, auf der Mexiko und Kanada zu den USA gehören. Die Donroe-Doktrin ist wie die Monroe-Doktrin, nur von The Donald. Das Amerika, das er verspricht, wieder groß zu machen, soll größer, reicher und stärker werden.
Anstelle des Golfs von Mexiko hat Trump den Golf von Amerika. Panama mit seinem Kanal wird in Panamagoo umbenannt, Kanada, das seine Unabhängigkeit verliert, wird der 51. Bundesstaat, und das „grüne Land“ Grönland wird „unser Land“.
Ein Journalist fragte Trump: „Ihre Äußerungen zu Grönland, dem Panamakanal und so weiter. Können Sie der Welt versichern, dass Sie beim Versuch, die Kontrolle über diese Gebiete zu erlangen, nicht auf militärischen oder wirtschaftlichen Zwang zurückgreifen werden?“
„Nein, das kann ich nicht versprechen“, antwortete der gewählte US-Präsident.
Trumps Invasion in Grönland wäre der kürzeste Krieg der Welt, fasst das liberale Politico die sich rasch verändernde geopolitische Realität zusammen.
Und der Economist listet auf, worum dieser Krieg geführt werden würde. Grönlands Rohstoffreichtum ist enorm: Die Insel verfügt über nachgewiesene Reserven von 43 der 50 von der amerikanischen Regierung als „kritisch“ eingestuften Mineralien, darunter wahrscheinlich die größten Vorkommen an seltenen Erden außerhalb Chinas. Sie sind für militärische Ausrüstung und grüne Energie von entscheidender Bedeutung. Nach einer Schätzung des US Geological Survey aus dem Jahr 2008 könnten Bohrungen vor der grönländischen Küste 52 Milliarden Barrel Öl ergeben, etwa drei Prozent der weltweit nachgewiesenen Reserven.
Grönland ist auch ein wichtiger Boxenstopp im Wettlauf um die Arktis, bei dem die USA, wie Trumps innerer Kreis zugibt, bereits mehrere Runden hinter Russland zurückliegen.
Mike Waltz, der nationale Sicherheitsberater des designierten US-Präsidenten, erklärte: „Es geht nicht nur um Grönland, es geht um die gesamte Arktis. Wir sehen, wie Russland versucht, die Königin der Arktis zu werden, mit mehr als 60 Eisbrechern, von denen einige nuklear angetrieben sind. Wissen Sie, wie viele von diesen Schiffen wir haben? Zwei, einer ist gerade abgebrannt. Wir reden hier über wichtige Mineralien. Haben Sie gesehen, wie Donald Trump Jr. von den Einheimischen begrüßt wurde? Alle 56.000 Menschen warten auf Wohlstand und wollen die westliche Hemisphäre wieder groß machen.“
Der wichtigste Passagier des Trump-Flugzeugs und seine Begleiter wurden, wenn nicht wie Verwandte, so doch wie Cousins begrüßt. Ein Reporter fragte den in Grönland angekommenen Trump Jr.: „Haben Sie eine Nachricht von Ihrem Vater?“
„Er lässt Sie grüßen“, lautete die Antwort.
Auf die Frage „Wollt ihr zu Amerika gehören?“ antworten die Einheimischen positiv.
Europa ist aus diesem Blickwinkel, genauso wie die NATO, irgendwo an der Peripherie. Dabei haben sich die Dänen doch sehr um die NATO bemüht. Sie haben 2,37 Prozent des BIP für ihr Militär bereitgestellt, was über den Zielvorgaben des Bündnisses liegt, und F-35-Flugzeuge gekauft sowie Panzer und Artillerie an die Ukraine geliefert. Und zwar mit der Formulierung, dass sie es gerne tun, weil sie, die Dänen, einer direkten Bedrohung durch eine feindliche imperialistische Macht ausgesetzt sind. Nur welche? Falken befürchteten, dass so auch andere amerikanische Verbündete weglaufen würden.
John Bolton, der ehemalige nationale Sicherheitsberater des US-Präsidenten, sagte: „Und so spricht ein NATO-Verbündeter mit einem anderen. So sollte man das nicht machen. Das zeigt, dass Trump den breiteren Kontext, in dem er sich geäußert hat, und die nachteiligen Folgen, die sich daraus für die gesamte NATO ergeben können, nicht versteht.“
Vielleicht ist es aber auch genau umgekehrt, und er versteht es sehr gut. Für Trump ist die NATO ein Teil der Infrastruktur des maroden Tiefen Staates, veraltet und ineffektiv. Wenn das passiert, werden die USA Artikel 5 nicht gegen sich selbst aktivieren.
Europa hat fertig und die Ukraine wurde mit Füßen getreten. Sie liegt völlig außerhalb von Trumps Sicherheitsgleichung, wie Trump sagte:
„Jahrelang, schon vor Putin, hat Russland gesagt, dass die NATO niemals mit der Ukraine verbunden werden darf. Es war wie in Stein gemeißelt. Und dann sagte Biden, die Ukraine solle der NATO beitreten können. Russland hat also die NATO direkt vor der Haustür. Ich kann ihre Gefühle in dieser Sache verstehen Die Ukraine kann niemals der NATO beitreten.“
„Die Ukraine wird nie Mitglied der NATO werden?“, fragte ein Journalist nach.
„Das war doch immer klar“, war Trumps Antwort.

„Erinnern Sie sich, was Trumps erste Reaktion auf den Einmarsch Putins in der Ukraine war? Er sagte: ‚Das ist brillant. Wenn man ein Land übernehmen kann, warum sollte man es nicht tun?‘ Das ist beunruhigend. Wenn sich die Welt in einen Dschungel verwandelt, in dem sich der Starke nimmt, was er will, ist das keine sichere Welt für die Amerikaner oder irgendjemanden.“
US-Außenminister Anthony Blinken hingegen wiederholte:
„Wir haben alle daran gearbeitet, dass die Ukraine aus einer Position der Stärke in das Jahr 2025 geht, sei es, dass sie den Krieg fortsetzt, weil Russland nicht aufhören will, sei es, dass sie verhandelt. Bis zum letzten Tag dieser Amtszeit werden wir die Ukraine weiterhin unterstützen.“
Die für Selensky bereitgestellten vier Milliarden wurden nicht ausgeschöpft. Wird man sie in die „Dollar-Pipeline“ von Washington nach Kiew fließen lassen? Das hängt nun von Trump ab, der in der ukrainischen Frage vor unseren Augen, so scheint es, immer realistischer wird. Er spricht nicht mehr davon, den Konflikt in 24 Stunden zu lösen, heute sagt er:
„Ich hoffe, dass ich sechs Monate Zeit habe. Nein, ich denke, ich hoffe, weit weniger als sechs Monate. Dies ist ein Krieg, der niemals hätte stattfinden dürfen. Ich garantiere Ihnen, wenn ich Präsident gewesen wäre, hätte es diesen Krieg nicht gegeben.“
Ein Reporter fragte ihn: „Ich möchte Sie etwas über die Ukraine und Putin fragen. Wann werden Sie sich mit Putin treffen, um die Lage in der Ukraine zu besprechen?“
„Das kann ich Ihnen nicht sagen. Aber ich weiß, dass Putin sich gerne treffen würde. Ich halte es nicht für angebracht, sich vor dem 20. zu treffen, was ich hasse. Denn, wissen Sie, jeden Tag werden Menschen getötet, viele, viele junge Menschen, Soldaten“, antwortet Trump.
Der 20. Januar ist der Tag der Amtseinführung. Doch CNN-Insider tippen auf den Frühling:
„Die Verhandlungen zwischen Russland und der Ukraine werden in der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 2025 stattfinden.“
Aus Regierungskreisen heißt es, dass sowohl das Büro des US-Präsidenten als auch Vertreter der Ukraine davon ausgingen, dass die Gespräche mit Moskau in der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 2025 stattfinden könnten. Keith Kellogg, der künftige Sonderbeauftragte für die Ukraine und Russland, sagte dazu:
„Der größte Fehler, den Biden gemacht hat, ist, dass er nie mit Putin verhandelt hat, in zwei Jahren nicht ein einziges Mal mit ihm gesprochen hat. Wir wollen die Voraussetzungen dafür schaffen, dass der Präsident mit Präsident Putin und Selensky verhandeln kann. Ich denke, sie werden kurzfristig zu einer Lösung kommen. Ich würde gerne ein Ziel setzen, sowohl auf persönlicher als auch auf professioneller Ebene, und zwar 100 Tage.“
Das ist kein Thema, bei dem ein Gegenplan oder eine Erhöhung der eigenen Verpflichtungen angebracht wären. Aber die Energie der Botschaft ist an sich schon eine Ansage. Es war Biden, der vier Jahre seiner Präsidentschaft verschlief, wie in der Washingtoner Kathedrale beim Abschied von Jimmy Carter, als er während der Veranstaltung einnickte.
Trump hingegen ist bereit, selbst mit denen zu verhandeln, die ihm im Gegensatz zu Putin die ganze Zeit über offen geschadet haben. Bei der gleichen Zeremonie saß er neben Obama. Der kompetente Lippenleser Jeremy Freeman gab seine Version des Gesprächs wieder:
Trump: „Ich bin da raus. Das sind die Bedingungen. Können Sie sich das vorstellen?“
Obama: „Sie können einfach … das muss gut sein.“
Trump: „Ich kann nicht reden, wir müssen einen ruhigen Ort finden. Das ist ein sehr wichtiges Thema, und wir müssen es draußen besprechen, damit wir es heute lösen können.“
Was der Gegenstand des Gesprächs war, ist schwer zu verstehen. Es gibt mehrere Versionen. Entweder ging es um das Atomabkommen mit dem Iran, um das Pariser Klimaabkommen oder vielleicht um Kanada. Trudeau war auch in der Nähe. Er schaute Trump aus der Ferne und mit Besorgnis an.
Bidens unglücklicher Halbklon, der Kanada in ein liberales Experimentierfeld verwandelt hat, Depressionen zum Beispiel werden dort mit Euthanasie behandelt, hat nur noch 18 Prozent Zustimmungswerte.
Unter Trudeau, meint Trump, sei Kanada „aus dem Ruder“ gelaufen. Illegale Einwanderer und tonnenweise Drogen strömen über die Nordgrenze in die USA, die Handelsbilanz ist unausgeglichen, und zwar nicht zu Gunsten der USA. Aber die moralische und finanzielle Unterstützung der ukrainischen Nazis, der Alten und ihrer Nachfolger, ist dem neuen Herrn des Weißen Hauses völlig egal.
Ein Journalist fragte ihn: „Sie haben Putin immer noch nicht angerufen. Wird das am ersten Tag oder der ersten Woche geschehen?“
„Er will sich treffen, und wir sind dabei, ein Treffen zu organisieren“, lautete Trumps Antwort.
„Wenn Sie sagen, Sie wollen sich mit Putin oder Xi treffen, wollen Sie dann einen Gipfel veranstalten?“, fragte einer nach.
„Das ist noch nicht entschieden. Aber Präsident Putin will sich treffen, er hat es gesagt. Wir müssen dieses Blutbad beenden“, antwortete Donald Trump.
Die Sanktionspresse, die Biden zehn Tage vor seinem Abgang wieder in Gang gesetzt hat, ist der Qualität des Dialogs sicher nicht zuträglich. Unter die neuen anti-russischen Sanktionen fallen 183 Tanker, Dutzende von Dienstleistungsunternehmen und Leute aus den Bereichen Energie, Metallurgie und Bergbau.
Bloomberg schreibt bereits, dass der demokratische Präsident das Wohlergehen seines eigenen Landes leichtsinnig zum Preis eines möglichen Anstiegs der Benzinpreise riskiert hat. Mit anderen Worten: Er hat das Geld der Amerikaner verpulvert.
Um die Aufmerksamkeit der Journalisten auf sich zu ziehen, versprach Biden ihnen eine Abschiedsrede und versicherte, dass er nach seinem Ausscheiden aus dem Oval Office nicht von der Bildfläche verschwinden würde. Für einen Mann in so einem intellektuellen Dämmerzustand klingt das anmaßend.
Ein Journalist fragte: „Bedauern Sie, dass Sie sich nicht zur Wiederwahl gestellt haben? Hat Trump das den Sieg erleichtert?“
„Das glaube ich nicht. Ich denke, ich hätte gewinnen können und ich hätte Trump geschlagen. Und Kamala hätte gewinnen können und hätte Trump besiegt“, antwortete Joe Biden.
Was mit Trump passiert wäre, wenn Harris gewonnen hätte, weiß der New Yorker Richter Merchan. Am 10. Juli hätte er den republikanischen Kandidaten nach dem Urteil der Geschworenen im Fall Stormy Daniels ins Gefängnis schicken können, wäre da nicht der Oberste Gerichtshof gewesen.
Der Tiefe Staat war Donald Trump auf den Fersen, hat ihn aber nicht gekriegt. Alle Strafverfahren sind auseinander gefallen, nur das in New York bleibt. Selbst ein liberaler Richter aus Manhattan kann den designierten Präsidenten der USA nicht ins Gefängnis bringen. Aber er kann seine Biografie ruinieren.
Es hätte eine Show werden können, doch der designierte US-Präsident ist nicht nach New York geflogen. Er verfolgte die Urteilsverkündung zusammen mit einem Anwalt von seinem Anwesen in Mar-a-Lago aus per Video.
Das Ergebnis war eine Verurteilung ohne Strafe. Trump schafft es nicht, Berufung einzulegen. Damit ist er der erste amerikanische Präsident, der verurteilt wurde. Insgesamt herrscht hier ein 1:1 mit dem Tiefen Staat.
Eine Anhängerin von Trump sagte mir in New York:
„Sie haben versucht, ihn zu canceln. Sie haben versucht, seine Unterstützer in den sozialen Medien zu canceln. Es gab einen großen Plan, uns einzuschüchtern. Das war völlig unfair. Und alles, was sie taten, das Gesetz zu verdrehen, um ihm die Schuld zu geben, das war völlig unfair.“
Allerdings wurde schon vor der Amtseinführung mit der Wiederherstellung der Gerechtigkeit begonnen. Sonderermittler Jack Smith, der Trump angeklagt hatte, ist zurückgetreten.

I think that was the age one of my cousins got pregnant. Her daughter is now one of the most wonderful people in the family... If my cousin hadn't been religious, she would have only heard the message from society, which is "its okay to abort, here, take the easy way out," and the wonderful person who is her daughter wouldn't exist. Which messages we promote have real consequences.
'Free will' assumes that people have all information and perspectives. That's a silly assumption! How much are we influenced by the people around us and the example set by TV and movies? Most people are close to 100% programmed by these things. They aren't their own programmers, so their will isn't actually theirs, so 'free will' is mostly a myth. The only way it can be a real thing is if we choose not to go with the flow, or choose to push a flow different from the mainstream flow.
I'm totally against the police being involved in peoples' choices. If you say we can't use police to enforce a ban on abortions, I agree ; however, look at the other side, where you use police to enforce a ban on a kind of speech. In the UK, you can be thrown in jail for offending someone with your speech. If you tell a woman that abortion is murder, and she feels offended, should you be thrown in jail? Clearly the police are the criminals, as are the people pushing for policy. The policy is the real crime.
IMO, the only real resolution is to do away with policy, which means doing away with government. The existence of a machinery of enforcement is too much of a temptation to people and their agendas. I wonder how many contentious social issues would simply disappear if there was no mechanism of violence to fight over using. That's what it really boils down to - who gets to control the dummies in uniform. I used to be one of those dummies... No matter what uniform you wear, you're basically police, if required. What elections really boil down to is : what are the conditions of the application of violence? For a time, one side is in power, and we inch closer to that side's reasons to murder their opponents. Then for a while the other side is in power, and we inch closer to murdering the other side. The capacity for murder is maintained and built up, and elections matter because the other side might finally use it and you're dead. We approach that in gradations - we'll just surveil people for now, no big deal ; then we'll put people in jail for reasons, no big deal, its not killing ; then we'll increase penalties, have many penalties for one crime, and its no big deal, its just justice and those are bad guys - but there is an endpoint, the final climax of the will of the people, where democracy finally transforms into its transcendent state, and there's no more room to add punishments and loss of liberty, and the state commits genocide. That's what elections and policy are really about. Maneuvering for the final showdown, extermination. Issues like abortion and assisted suicide are foreshadowing and foreplay and rehearsals. All issues are.

ผมเป็นคนชัยภูมิ อำเภอภูเขียว ที่บ้านทำเขียงเนื้อมาตั้งแต่สมัยปู่ จนตอนนี้ร้านก็เปิดมาเกือบ 30 ปีแล้วครับ
ตอนนี้ผมอายุ 23 กลับมาช่วยที่บ้านเต็มตัว แล้วก็พยายามเล่าเรื่องเกี่ยวกับ bitcoin ให้คนรู้จักในอำเภอ รวมถึงพ่อค้าแม่ค้าที่มาซื้อเนื้อบ้านเรา หวังว่าสักวัน เค้าจะลองเปิดใจมาให้ bitcoin บ้าง
หลังจากตาสว่างเพราะ bitcoin ผมก็เห็นมุมของสังคมที่เป็นอยู่ว่า ในสังคม fiat มันทำให้สังคมชนบท ที่มักจะพึ่งพาอาศัยกัน อยู่กันแบบพี่น้อย ภาพแบบนี้ค่อยๆหายไป อยู่ห่างกันมากขึ้น แล้วถ้าเป็นแบบนี้ต่อไป คิดว่ารอยยิ้ม การพึ่งพาอาศัยกัน การอยู่กันแบบพี่น้องในสังคมชนบท ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์ที่โคตรจะสวยงามของสังคมไทยจะหายไป ตอนนี้เลยตั้งใจ อยากจะสร้างการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับ bitcoin ในสังคมรอบๆตัวของผมให้มากขึ้น เพื่อรักษาภาพที่น่ารัก การช่วยเหลือเกื้อกูลกัน แบบนี้ให้อยู่ต่อไป
