Their will always be a monopoly on violence. Whether a gov't, tribe leader, gang leader, etc... someone will always come to power and seek control. So our best bet is figuring out how to manage it the best we can without it getting out of hand... same goes for corruption, will always be there.

Not really. It's necessary but we need public oversight on how it's spent and a fair system (flat tax). I don't think the highway dept could survive selling merch.

Proton cannot scan the contents of your email, they have access to limited meta data but that’s it. They also moved to a foundation. But I trust them more than some unknown saying they will set up a vps for me.

Coolest thing about #Nostr is I have 3 clients installed between 2 phones and nothing changes between the three, I can post in one, look at reply’s in the other, zap from the other phone, see the #zap back in another client… all pretty seamles.

If I install garnet, which has to be done with obtainium or side loading, google play sees it as Amethyst.. even obtanium confuses the two.. I’m not saying move away, but there has to be a better way to differentiate the two to the different app delivery services.

#Garnet needs to work on breaking away from #Amethyst enough that Android can tell them apart. It screws up updates, basically only one can be updated.
