I’ve been experimenting with espresso. Using a manual press (flair). Grind seems good - as fine as I can get it to still allow a good pull and not choke the press. Beans are also roasted by me - around full city or full city+.
Doing 17g -> 44g, about 1:2.5.
Flavor for days. But it’s quite bitter. How do I lower the bitterness? Even with milk, it comes through.

Oh, I never disagreed about “unskilled labor” I tried to make that clear in my first comment, perhaps I failed in that. As I said “unskilled labor” is a term used to denigrate essential work that society chooses to look down on.
That said, that wages are often low in these work areas is a function of labor competition rather than capitalists or capitalism seeking an excuse to pay poverty wages.
That such low wages exists and insomuch as the workers can join and leave voluntarily (ie they are not slaves, waged or otherwise) suggests that there are people who can achieve more than subsistence on such pay. This is simply the nature of labor competition.
So perhaps we are in argumentative agreement here overall 😂

Many have eSIM...but not all. There are pros and cons to each. The question here is that to obtain a SIM from a carrier will you have to go through KYC? I believe the answer is yes, but I frankly don't know for sure...
The SIM (and the IMSI) identify the user of the phone (i.e. your phone call and text destination). Assuming that a "burner" phone has a SIM that is not attached to your identiry? If so, then a phone with a non-KYC SIM running #grapheneOS would seem to be an optimal combination.
But (for most?) that would entail getting a new phone number (and I think that's likely unpalatable for many).

To be fair, I kinda understand their point in that it is indeed theoretically possible to perform KYC on every redemption, and thus only rugpull a specific subset of users. But it's probably the costliest way to rugpull someone, because you'd have to do a KYC check for every claim until you're sure that the remaining ones all belong to the subset you wish to rugpull. And from the point of view of the rugpulled, the outcome is no worse than if the rugpull was general.

The issues is that on my most *nix platforms the `memset(ptr, size);` call gets optimized away because there is no read after write. So it's considered insecure. Along with that both the cl.exe and cc compilers treat volatile argument pointers differently and they even disagree heavily about when to use volatile pointers either as arguments or even in the procedure body. Really the only right way is to look at the assembly after you compile your project to see if there are instructions to wipe the buffer correctly.

Guidance reiterated a potential source of disappointment - Ferrari has raised guidance at 3Q every year since 2016, with the exception of 2018. Hence, the lack of a raise today may be seen as disappointing. Ferrari reiterated its FY24 guide, adding that it had even greater confidence despite persistent cost inflation. Cons EBITDA/EBIT estimates presently sit c.2.5%/2.6% ahead of the low end of Ferrari's guide, meanwhile, the low end also implies 4Q adj. EBIT cuts of c.11%. As per prior years, we expect that Ferrari's guidance remains conservative. Ferrari commented that its order book stretches into 2026 and that the new F80 is fully allocated.
The analysts maintained a "Neutral" rating on the stock with a 12-month price target of €470/$508.
