Yes, but I would caution against running your node on a shitty hardware with no UPS. You MUST have mirrored drives with sufficient capacity and of a very high quality. Many lost millions of sats by going cheap on LN hardware

You are not sending nip57 to the relays or at all. Maybe sender’s and receiver’s relays should be covered. I think that the request to fetch invoice comes with the list from the sender. Zaps did go through if I look at the node logs, but did not register on Nostr 🫡🫂

When you have the outgoing liquidity on a channel and it closes, those sats get sent back onchain. If you have a channel where the liquidity is all your partner’s side (you only have incoming liquidity), your sats are setting another channel as outgoing. You can rebalance or wait for a route from that channel partner that rebalances when it pushes sats through.
In my scenario, I had very few sats on my side as outgoing, had a really large route come through pushing liquidity to my partner. Then my partner closed the channel. So my partner kept his sats in the Lightning channels of his node and sent my sats back on chain. Kind of a dick move if you ask me. First time I’ve had that happen.

The block size is fine for now, but needs to scale with adoption and better technology.
Without the ability to conduct bank runs, custodians are free to fractionally reserve Bitcoin.
I'm not suggesting to give up on Bitcoin and go all in on monero, but it has a place to challenge complacency and force Bitcoin to be competitive.
The optimistic game theory for Bitcoin is that nation states will preference Bitcoin and suppress privacy coins. Once Bitcoin grows it will strangle the money printer and diminish the power of nation states. The powerful are then the wealth, who will desire privacy to avoid popular uprisings.
The wealthy will desire the rest to be dependent on their banks and resist attempts to increase the block size. The block size could be increased by the majority of nodes and miners reaching consensus, but with a small block reward keeping mining from being profitable, mining could be captured by bankers who run it at a loss to control the network.
This could be Moneros advantage. Tail emissions keep mining profitable. Variable block sizes allow increased transaction throughput allowing bankruns on any custodian. Without a large custodian control the incentives between miners and users are stronger.
Moneros future is to keep Bitcoin accountable. If Bitcoin gets captured and used as a weapon of control, monero will grow as the coin of the people. By the time Bitcoin reacts, it may be too late.

Definitely should cache the old balance though. Nunchuk takes some time to check new balances but my old ones don’t go away. With people so scared of using bitcoin, mitigating that sort of fear of “OMG MY WALLETS EMPTY” is probably a good idea.

2 things:
1) Profanity AND hateful speech, or are those misguidedly coupled together as 1 flag? I wouldn't consider sarcasm and profanity the same category as hate speech against someone's intrinsic quality or group membership. I only spoke on their actions / provided communication.
It's equivalent in language math to "you (the data analysis challenged commenter) is saying delusional things". If that would not be flagged as hate speech then this isn't either.
The main functional issue would be I can see someone wanting profanity (as there is no ethical issue with it) shown but to hide hate speech.
2) Regardless I'm not sure if this post is the product of utilizing moderation features of a client I can't use on Android, or it's being flagged for removal on a relay or something. Regardless I'd be happy to just remove it if that's actually what you want. I can't tell. Just say the word if that's your desire
