TIL: when your server is getting hit heavily by bots and CPU usage spikes to 100%, simply returning code 444 and redirecting logs for the offending ips to stdout (or discarding them) can be far more CPU-efficient than blocking IPs at the firewall level.

since im doing it from scratch and not just forking core, it might take a loong time.
my main goals are:
- improving the way blockchain is stored, compress it using various methods. my goal is lowering it under 100 GB.
- have new experimental commands like handshake for where to use gzip and bulk commands. so compress and lower the bandwidth as well.
- built-in indexing. first create a light probabilistic index, then when demanded index data for real, and use that light index to make it faster. then cache it.
- support and implement, "electrum" and "bitcoin rpc" endpoints.
- a decent built-in wallet.
- mempool-space like interface to explore your mempool and the blockchain on your node.
- built-in support for stratum endpoint to solo mine easily using your own node. (maybe a small cpu miner built in as well if you wanna play impossible lottery, it might encourage people to buy miners like bitaxe if they see their chances).
- nice clean sleek ui
- during initial sync acts like a lite node, so you can use it before its fully synced as well.
- sandboxed (wasm) plugin support, for things like DATUM, and mempool filters, and relaying logic. maybe plugins for different strategies to calculate estimated fee as well. etc.
- nostr marketplace for the plugins.

Encrypted storage of what? Files? That would probably be via Blossom rather than Nostr.
Thing is, if I want to have private and encrypted file storage that I can access from anywhere, that's what my home server is for. Don't really need a "cloud" option except perhaps as a redundancy, since I run my own "cloud."
I use Blossom to store files I want to share with others on Nostr, so encryption isn't necessary for that use-case most of the time. The exception would be for sharing a file via DM that I ONLY want the receiver to have access to.

The Battle of Groix took place on 23 June 1795 off the island of Groix in the Bay of Biscay during the War of the First Coalition. According to @nprofile…rts7, there's a bug in the underlying relay software where leaving a NIP-29 group = permanent ban. (I’ve already tried to summon @nprofile…xuyp a few times about it, but my skills as a fiatjaf summoner have been weakening.)
Between this and the fact that most folks ignore or don’t even receive NIP-17 messages on Nostr, it’s still hard to recommend NIP-29 to people currently using Discord, Slack, Matrix, etc., to run their communities.
Hopefully folks like you and @nprofile…t8ky will keep pushing this forward. But I do think the relay side of things needs to catch up a bit. One more side quest for me if I can get other folks interested, lol.

One of the bands I sing vocals in (Libý Květoň, czech bigbeat) celebrates 40th anniversary this fall and we have the opening concert at Kamina boat in Prague in a few weeks.

Btw. "Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei" hört sich krass mach Marx an und gehört dadurch einem linken Spektrum (jeder nach seinen Bedürfnissen) sodass Chancengleichheit herrwcht wobei rechts bedeutet "Jeder nach seinen Fähigkeiten" und auf die glrichheit vor dem Gesetz hingearbeitet wird. Oder?

"So ziemlich" ist auf einer Skala von "es war so bis es war nicht so" eine viel zu subjektive Einschätzung.
Was ich sehe ist folgendes: Die linken nutzen Steuergeld um die "Zivilgesellschaft" zu lenken, unter "Demokratie leben" werden Schüler mit linkem Sozialismus indoktriniert. Die Linken verbinden mehrere Wissenschaften zu einer neuen Pseudowissenschaft, der Geschlechterlehre. Diese nutzem sie um Experimente an Jugendlichen und Kindern durchzuführen. Die Nazis wollten auf allen deutachen Feldern Reichtskrafttürme (= Windkrafträder) aufstellen. Die linken erlassen Gesetze gegen Hass und Hetze. Das ist nicht nur so ziemlich was die Nazis getan haben, sondern ganz genau das was die Nazis taten. Gleichzeitig werden offene Stellen immer häufiger nach der passenden Hautfarbe besetzt, was zear positiver, aber trotzdem Rassismus und diskriminierend allen besser Leistenden ist, die nicht die benötigte Hautfarbe haben. Egal wie man es dreht und wendet: Die Mittel ihre Utopie der gleichem Gesellschaft zu erreichen sind bei links und rrchts dir selben. Auch linker Sozialismus hat Juden und "Ausländer" umgebracht: Egal ob in Russland, Laos, Kambodcha, Vietnam, China usw.
Ich freue mich auf eine argumentative Ausseinandersetzung mit den von mir genannten Fakten und nicht irgendein gefühlsbeladenes Geschwurbel. Schönen start in die Woche!
