Last year, I tried carnivore (again, done it two times before, but could only do it 2 weeks before my guts revolted) - but this time I tried your style. With fruit and honey as well. I did not go very well either though. Figured out that I have some hereditary fructose intolerance, making it very difficult to get energy from fructose. Honey even gave me some bad-ass stomach cramps, from just a teaspoon of it. Also, Sweden where I live, not the best place, we import most fruit here so it gets expensive fast...
Everything is a learning experience, so still grateful... I experienced that I sweated more and it smelled bad. Bad energy, no energy for workouts. I think what I'm experiencing is a light version of Fructokinase. Heard of it?

We do have a process called gluconeogenesis that turns protein and fat into glucose BUT not everyone is very great at doing this. I am one of those, I tried while working for Diet Doctor to adapt to the keto diet for over a year, with no success. Then tried carnivore 2 times, failed both after only 2 weeks (total crash), then tried carnivore & fruit just recently. Guess what? I’m bad at using fructose as an energy source too… Back to carbs. 🙂 Listen to your body.

Frustrating! Whenever I try to show something I believe in to a close friend. Before watching it, if it's about war, climate, Bitcoin or natural medicin - he has built up this wall of leftist fact checking. If it doesn't pass, he does not go further into the subject. In fact, have many friends who does not even do that. Opposing point of view? Ignore it. They do not hear the opposing view at all. I say, this is very dangerous. Fact check by all means. When I worked at Diet Doctor I did. But even they have now realized, extra fat do add up. Calories from fat isn’t free just because you eat keto or low carb. If you do eat fat, have it from some real food so you get all the nutrients. Also. I prefer my coffee black. 😎
