This is the level of selling pressure that can lead to a sell-the-news effect.
But many people who are afraid of executing these positions will end up doing badly.
Trying to hit local tops without the help of data to support the position can end up leaving many out.
Furthermore, the book is quite dynamic. In my view, this high volume of short positions is derived from algorithmic trading, offering resistance in a key region observed by the market.
Which would be quite curious if this were a manipulation movement forcing sold positions to the market, so that if the price approaches this region, the algorithmic limit orders are removed, and the price cuts directly through the region.

Ahhh finally a little cynicism… I once rented and EV not realizing what I was doing. It was half charged when I got it, and quickly died on my one hour drive from Detroit to Toledo. Because of course it takes more energy if you plug in your phone to use the map, and if you drive above 55mph.
Then I had to scramble to figure out how/where to charge the damn thing. Thought plugging it in at the hotel for 24 hours would be enough. It was absolutely not. Then had one of the most stressful drives back to the airport (which I barely made it to). Never again, I said. I will never rent an EV again. These are NOT the right cars for long road trips by any stretch of the imagination.
Why am I telling you this? Because it turns out we had to rent a car at the last minute for this weekend’s run of shows. Found a great deal on what I thought was an SUV, and guess what kind of car it was? A freaking EV. Nope. Had to pay $30 more for a gas car, but if Michigan and Ohio aren’t well equipped to handle EVs, then the southern US DEFINITELY ain’t!
I’m a fan of a good hybrid. But I do not like straight up EVs. I’ve road tripped way too much in my life to have to hunt down a charging station and spend an hour there charging (plus the money) for maybe 150 miles of drive time.
End rant.

Bull Run Reflections as bitcoin nears $100k
Once you understand Bitcoin, you feel compelled to help others learn about it.
Rewind to the last bull run in 2020, and I felt guilty for not trying harder to help more people understand the coin. 🧵
Four years later, as we enter this new bull run, I’m far more at ease.
My conscience is clear:
All my friends know me as being into #Bitcoin (the ones who are left, lol).
My local haunts—cafés, surf shops—tease me about being "Mr. Bitcoin" (I always ask to pay in Bitcoin).
The side of my family that talks to me about Bitcoin now saves in Bitcoin.
I’ve spent the last 4 years advocating for Bitcoin:

TikTok
Conferences
Even street corners!
Even my girlfriend’s friends (who I’ve never met) know me as "the Bitcoin guy."
They used to tease her about it on Instagram... now? Not so much.
I know my content has inspired others to:
Start Bitcoin communities
Save in Bitcoin
Win arguments against skeptics
Try new Bitcoin tools
Lighten their mood and remind them Bitcoin is the right path for humanity.
None of this is great for my OpSec, of course.
But that’s part of being a public advocate in a privacy-focused space.
On that note: I don’t own any Bitcoin. Bollocks! I lost it all... time to start stacking again today. 😉
Sadly, and maybe you’ve experienced this too, Bitcoin has strained some friendships.
I don’t know why it grinds people so much, but it does.
I hope those people eventually come around. And when they do, I hope I have the grace to be compassionate and humble.
I choose to advocate for Bitcoin because it’s our best tool to fight authoritarianism and central banking incompetence.
It’s the tool for empowerment.
Whether you’re:
Financially hamstrung in Cuba
Cut off in Senegal
Left behind in remote Peruvian villages
Sidelined in South Africa
Or fed up with the status quo in the UK...
Bitcoin is the answer.

So I wanted to deep dive on the old NONCE attack on hardware wallets, specifically whether the COLDCARD Mk4 leverages each of it's True Random Number Generators (TRNG) on both secure elements to generate random numbers and combine them using XOR.
Checking out this blog post... and HOLY SHIT, my respect for COLDCARD's security just skyrocketed. They don’t just use both secure elements but they also throw in the Microprocessor’s TRNG and XOR them together, with all of them chatting over a few millimeters of copper via encrypted comms. And that’s just scratching the surface!
