Usually, yes. I don't work full days everyday, but I do work everyday.
I have my main business that I operate. On weekdays, I usually put in 6-8 hours. On weekends, I put in 2-4hrs.
On the side, I've been working on a software with two other guys. I try to do 1hr of work each day on it, including weekends.
This summer, I will be traveling a lot for work. It's forcing me to front load a lot of the backend and planning work I'd do then, to now.

Defunding the state has never been more timely.
Yeah. It's catchy slogans to drive home the message of distrust clearly. It's important that we have extremely high standards for trust and are aware of the possibilities. The idea that an IOU is completely worthless just because there's a 0.1% chance it will become irredeemable, is a little overkill, but it drives home the message as quickly and effectively as possible that you don't know, that there is that real chance. It's like an oversimplified guideline.
The way it all works in reality is we tailor our risk tolerance to ourselves, as well as craft a risk model, an understanding of how this all works, in our heads. We use the tech but allocate this percent or that percent to onchain, liquid, lightning, cashu, etc... we engage our friends with certain subsets of that and help them allocate for what makes sense for their use cases and risks. The simple message is just a good reminder for plebs who've been in a long time, and a good initiation for new plebs who are ready to become paranoid.

I was thinking this morning about your post on ac/dc at home. Suppose we do all the transformation in front of the home, we then need to supply dc to the devices.
Currently the devices have power adapters specific to the dc they need.
If we got rid of the need for adapters, we'd still have devices needing different amps and volts.
Those power adapters kinda solve a problem.
Is it even at all possible to do what you suggested without customizing every socket for the amps/volts a given device needs?

It gets very hard very quickly to do any sort of "tracing" because of that, although yes, in certain corner cases just because of the sheer statistical improbability of a certain output being a ring member, one could draw implicative conclusions regarding certain a transaction, if they are well positioned to do so.
This is a known weakness, and FCMP++ fixes it, which again, is kinda the whole point of having the upgrade in the first place.

The reason it's so tempting to fall for these silly notions is that some little sacrifice is always needed for greater gains. It happens in economic planning all the time. You sacrifice one alternative use of something for another, perhaps give up money now to generate revenue to get more money in the future. You can sacrifice 5 bucks toward a hobo because you yourself value that hobo, value the community you live in, and want things to function half decently and you think this is your part you can play toward that. That is serving your own interests for greater rewards to yourself than the opportunity cost of 5 dollars.

Using my PowerbellGM2 equation and plotting out the next 20 weeks mirroring 2017 which is very similar in a lot of ways (You can see the last 20 points are lighter) Here is a very close path to what we are going to do. $550K by last week of September and then the pullback. if you take the position that using GC makes it a "bad" language then you can strike out Rust, Javascript, and Python straight off the bat as well.
if you haven't actually tried to write code in rust, which has a GC but you have to hold its hand all the way, and experienced the 3 months process of getting to being able to write a server. then you aren't qualified to talk about the benefit of GC when you can build a basic web service in Go in a weekend if you have basic understanding of programming.
3 months later, you can do the same thing in Rust.

I haven't fully decided yet. Most likely just self distribution of a epub. You have to sell so many copies to make the printing and shipping worth it. Even if the quality and information value is there (which in my humble opinion it is) it is still a very niche subject. Even concentrated on nostr interest would be 30 - 40 copies top I would guess.
The coding part is not the hard part anymore. The hard part is getting users.

البيتكوين شبكةٌ يُحددها مستخدموها، الذين يتمتعون بحرية مطلقة في اختيار البرامج التي يستخدمونها (سواءً كانت مُصادقة بالكامل أم لا) وتطبيق أي سياسات يرغبون بها. لا يملك فريق مطوري البيتكوين كور صلاحية فرض هذه السياسات. ويتجلى ذلك في ممارستنا المُستمرة لتجنب التحديث التلقائي للبرنامج. هذا يعني أنه لا يُمكن لأي جهة فرض تغييرات على مستخدمي البيتكوين كور من جانب واحد: يجب أن تُجرى التغييرات من قِبل المستخدمين الذين يختارون اعتماد إصدارات برامج جديدة بأنفسهم، أو إذا رغبوا في ذلك، برامج مختلفة. تُمثل حرية تشغيل أي برنامج الضمانة الأساسية للشبكة ضد الإكراه.
بصفتنا مطوري بيتكوين كور، نعتبر من مسؤوليتنا ضمان عمل برنامجنا بأقصى قدر ممكن من الكفاءة والموثوقية لتحقيق غرضه، ألا وهو التحقق من صحة الكتل والمعاملات ونقلها عبر شبكة البيتكوين من نظير إلى نظير، لضمان نجاح بيتكوين كعملة رقمية لامركزية. وفيما يتعلق بنقل المعاملات، قد يشمل ذلك إضافة سياسات لحماية من رفض الخدمة (DoS) وتقييم الرسوم، ولكن دون منع نقل المعاملات التي حافظت على الطلب الاقتصادي ونجحت في الوصول إلى الكتل بشكل موثوق. تشمل أهداف نقل المعاملات ما يلي:
