I don’t think it’s a settled question whether regulation and “legalization” is a Trojan Horse for censorship, or bitcoin is a Trojan Horse for the entire legacy financial system.
With greater adoption this was always coming, in fact it was best case scenario because the alternatives were either it were killed before it got this big, or it never got this big because it didn’t catch on.
We’ll see what happens. The legacy system is fucking around, and all of us will find out, one way or the other.

This is such a complex issue but I think it is pretty obvious that law is not the solution to minors being sexualized on the internet. The only solution I see is for parents to keep their children off the internet.
Young girls do not understand why it is wrong or dangerous, so they will naturally oversexualize themselves because it is what gets them the most interaction on social media.
Boys also face problems with internet access. When I was 12, I would cast my PS3 to my PSP and look up boobs on YouTube. When I got an iPod touch at 13, it became much easier to watch porn. By age 14 I had seen more shit than a human should. I had seen beheadings, gore, blown up bodies, etc.
The only solution is for children to have no access to the internet. If they have access, they will get around whatever safeguards you might put in place. Many girls will become addicted to validation, and boys will become addicted to porn. A silly ban isn’t enough to protect them. It is all up to the parents.

据一个很难核实的统计数据，中共在历次政治运动中迫害致死的人和三年饥荒饿死的人数加起来，超过7000万，超过了世界各国二战中死亡的人数总和。
如果中共不是杀害了他们而是把这些人驱逐出境，如果这些不见容于红色政权的人能活下来，哪怕被放逐到某个荒岛，有机会自力更生，建起“异类之国”， 他们能建设出一个现代国家，能走向文明吗？
我想，台湾的今天就是答案。
香港曾经的繁荣，在影响力辐射整个东南亚的香港文艺圈中曾熠熠生辉的那些名字，例如黄霑、倪匡、金庸，就是答案。
为什么？
因为这些“异类”，这些被伤害链系统视为“不稳定因素”，看成需要消灭的敌人的人，正是一个社会中最有创造力，最有能力促成社会经济、文化走向繁荣的人口。
伤害链系统因消灭他们而稳定，但由伤害链政权统治的社会也正因消灭了这类人，对知识分子、商人、地主等人展开了残酷打压，使其肉体被消灭、精神被压制、政治上死亡，而丧失了正常社会应有的财富创造能力。
你知道光是“镇反”就杀了多少人么？
根据中国公安部党组1958年9月向中共中央的报告，“自开国以来到1958年5月，全国共逮捕了反革命和其他犯罪分子611万8千246名，杀了其中罪大恶极的86万2千236名，管制了194万2千125名，基本上完成了肃清了反革命残余势力的历史任务。”
你知道经济高度发达的欧洲国家冰岛有多少人口么？
39万3600人。
一场“镇反”，光是杀，就杀绝了两个冰岛。
根据中共十一届三中全会后复查统计，在1957年的“反右运动”和1958年的“反右补课”中，全国共“改正”右派55万2877人，不予“改正”的96人，错划率为99.998%。有数据显示，大约只有10万多人活到了被“改正”的时候。
仅仅“反右”，就又令足以填满一整个冰岛的知识分子蒙冤至死。
这些人没能活到改开时代。
但如果他们能活在一个象今日之台湾、今日之冰岛的制度环境里，如果他们只是被驱逐了而不是被禁锢在叫天天不应喊地地不灵的绝境中，他们会为自己创造出怎样的生活，又能为这个世界留下些什么呢？
在墙内的清醒者们，我希望你们不要以为这些历史的悲剧和自己毫不相干。
因为这些曾被党国拣选出来的“异类”，这些被伤害链主认为“知道的太多了”的人，这些被群众揪斗，说他们“知识越多越反动”的人，就是当年环境中的你们。
他们头脑里的观点恐怕还远没有今天的你们，已经在改开时代接触过许多现代观念的你们，那么“反动”。
而当年的他们，平均智商远高于当时普通群众，对政治的关注和敏感度也高于今天的伪中产的他们，当然也是尝试过靠谨言慎行自保的。
但在伤害链主挥起的屠刀面前，他们的努力毫无意义。
一场大饥荒，饿死了多少人？
按杨继绳先生相当保守的说法，1958年到1962年，中国非正常死亡3600万人。
那是整整一个澳大利亚加整整一个瑞士的人口数量总和。
所以，朋友们，你们有没有想过，被中共的暴政不断杀死的，是一个又一个国家的人口，是如果能够独立出来，不任由中共政权欺凌，不受由中共洗脑培养出的亿万牲人的裹挟，就有极大可能为自己创造出今日台湾之生活、今日欧洲之生活状态的人口？
这些死难者，是因为“知道的太多了”，是因为家有薄产，才会被划归“地、富、反、坏、右”的。
虽然他们并不比你们知道的更多，严格计算下来，身家也未必比你们中的许多人更富裕。
但正因为他们知道的比当时的一般人更多，他们创造财富的能力、解决问题的能力比一般人略强，所以他们成了伤害链主必须消灭的对象，他们，就是帝国必须摧毁的“敌国”。
虽然他们甚至从未想象过独立出来，抱团取暖，建设起属于自己的国家。
他们为什么必须死？
因为在一个由亿万牲人构成的大国里，他们，是异类。
就象你们，在一个由中共洗脑洗出来的亿万牲人组成的社会里，你们，头脑清醒，心向文明，会“翻墙”出来看世界的你们，是少数，是异类。
我为什么反复宣说新欧洲方案？
因为在我眼中，表面上看来保持着大一统的中共国，在认知层次上，在三观、理念、能力水准上，早就完成了分裂。
你们和你们身边的许多人早就“不是一国的”了。
你们早就成了不可能见容于完全信奉习近平那一套的粉蛆族群的“异类”，他们还没冲上来撕碎你们，分光你们的资财，只是在等，等蛆王的一声号令而已。
如果你们不能和他们分开，不能独立出来建设起属于自己的国家，不能让理当属于你们的冰岛、瑞士、澳大利亚显形于世，你们就会象在中共历次政治运动中死去的人们那样，象在中国历史上无数次涌动过的牲人杀戮狂潮中死去的受难者那样，悄然化为枯骨。
如果中华沦陷区不能转化成新欧洲，不能容许数量居于少数的清醒者汇聚到一起独立建国，不让你们有机会抱团取暖，拒绝数量庞大的牲人的裹挟，让“知道的更多”的特质在适合的环境中成为优势，而不是在牲人主导的环境中成为罪名，你们要怎么办？
今日之中共国，已经是一个在亿万牲人半牲人中掺杂了无数异类的“杂烩”。
我们知道牲人会怎么对他们。

While the world watches Lebanon through the lens of regional conflicts, a deeper, far more insidious war has been waged for decades—a war against the Lebanese people themselves. This war isn’t fought with bullets but with economic manipulation, corruption, and international complicity. At its heart is a man revered by the West and feared by his own: Riad Salameh. Once hailed as a savior, this decorated #MerrillLynch banker and #WallStreet favorite became Lebanon’s Central Bank Governor and ultimately, the architect of its ruin—a puppet dancing to the tune of foreign interests, most notably the American Federal Reserve.
In 1993, Salameh pegged the Lebanese Lira to the U.S. dollar at 1,500 LBP per USD, receiving applause from global powers for supposedly stabilizing a war-torn nation. But beneath the praise, a sinister scheme was unfolding. Lebanon’s economy, devoid of robust exports or productive sectors, was turned into a hollow shell dependent on debt and speculative capital inflows. The peg wasn’t about stability; it was about control. With no real economic foundation, Lebanon was propped up by a system designed to fail, all to serve the interests of corrupt elites and their foreign backers.
Picture a Ponzi scheme cloaked in the respectability of central bank conferences and IMF approval. Salameh and his allies used high-interest rates to attract billions in dollar deposits from the diaspora, funneling these funds to service government deficits and enrich political cronies. When inflows dried up, the mirage shattered. By 2019, Lebanon’s economy imploded, the currency collapsed, and the Lebanese #Lira lost over 98% of its value. Millions saw their life savings vanish overnight, left to starve in a country that had betrayed them.
Even then, the puppet show continued. As hyperinflation robbed the Lebanese people of their dignity, Salameh and the political elite he empowered played the same tired games. Banks, under Salameh’s guidance, imposed "haircuts" on dollar accounts—stripping depositors of their money by converting it to worthless Lira at rigged rates. Meanwhile, #Salameh’s appearances before Lebanon’s judiciary, often without legal counsel, were nothing more than theater. Insiders called it a smokescreen, designed to protect a man who was simply too useful to powerful interests to be held accountable.
European investigations have scrutinized Salameh’s alleged illicit dealings, including billions tied to the Optimum company. Yet, Lebanon’s judiciary remains mired in political interference and elite complicity. Attempts to expose the truth and lift banking secrecy have been blocked at the highest levels of government, protecting Salameh and his network of corruption. The theatrical detentions and investigations? Smoke and mirrors. Real justice remains an illusion, with high-level maneuvering ensuring accountability slips away.
This wasn’t just Salameh’s doing. Lebanon’s political elites and Western backers were complicit in maintaining the lie. The currency peg was a tool—a facade of stability that benefited international lenders and corrupt officials while ordinary citizens were bled dry. As long as dollar flows persisted, the West was content to let Lebanon burn.
Today, as #Lebanon suffers through one of the world’s worst economic collapses, the elite stage new performances, claiming justice is near. But the truth is, this puppet show serves a purpose far beyond Lebanon’s borders—a chilling reminder of how unchecked global power and financial manipulation can destroy nations.

一党专政
在这个政权中，中国共产党处于绝对领导地位。
文革结束时，中国共产党有３５００万名党员。在“个人服从组织，下级服从上级， 全党服从中央”的纪律约束下，所有的党员必须信奉一个思想－－马列主义、毛泽东思想 ；所有的党员必须执行一条路线－－毛主席的革命路线；所有的党员必须尊崇一个 领袖－ －毛泽东。由于中共是执政党，不仅共产党员这样做，也要求全民这样做。
中国共产党成千上万个党支部，深入到每一个工厂车间、每一个农村生产队和所有的机关、学校、居民委员会。在每一个基层单位和各级政权机构，党组织都凌驾于行政领导之上，凌驾于人民代表大会之上，实施绝对领导。名义上是人民代表大会制，实际是党政不分，以党代政，权力高度集中于党，而党权又高度集中于主要领导人的手中。
从中央到地方党委主要负责人都由上一级任命。在干部任命等一切重大问题上，党的一把手说了算。
中国共产党的机构全部国家化了。党的专职干部就是国家干部，他们的工资由国家财政开支，党的活动经费也由国家财政支出。
当时也有“民主党派”，但这些“民主党派”都以服从中国共产党的领导为原则。它 们和中国共产党不是平等竞争的关系，而是领导与被领导的关系。这些“民主党派”的一 把手多是中国共产党派进去的共产党党员。在财务上，是靠共产党用国家财政拨款养活的 。所以，民主党派都不是政党，而是中国共产党的统战工具。中国实际只有一个政党，它 就是执政的中国共产党。
中国共产党宣称，除了人民的利益之外没有党的利益。按照社会学的看法，一个集团 如果没有自己的独立利益，就不可能成为集团。中国共产党是中国最大的利益集团。它除 了谋求国家的利益以外（因为它是执政党），也得顾及本身的利益。这个强大的利益集团 是中国的客观存在。要解决中国的问题，就得面对这个庞大而强大的利益集团。
---文革结束时的中国

专制政治
当时的政治制度是在中国皇权专制的土壤上构筑的苏联式权力结构。文革初期这个制 度受到冲击，文革后期基本恢复到文革前的状态。这个制度实行了高度的经济垄断、政治 垄断和思想垄断，对社会、对民众的钳制比历代帝王更为严密细致、更为深入广泛。在皇 权专制年代，“普天之下，莫非王土；率 土之滨，莫非王臣”，只不过是皇家的愿望，实 际上皇家权力很难深入到中国版图的每一处，落实到每一个人。那时还有蛮荒之地，化外 之民。１９４９年建立的政权经过二十多年细密化，依靠现代武器、现代交通工具、现代 通讯技术和组织手段，国家的权力深入到一切山野村落、一切车间田头，深入到家庭生活 的方方面面，深入到每一个人的大脑和肠胃。行政权力的扩张，已经到了极致，到了无以 复加的地步。这是一种极度集中的严酷制度，totalitarian system（译为“极权制度” ）可以作为它的近义词。
这个严密而严酷的制度是由数百万官僚组成的权力金字塔构成的。由于社会被行政权力完全吞噬，官僚集团是治理国家的唯一依靠。
制度是一个“范”，即浇铸铸件的模型。不管怎么样坚硬的金属，只要熔化成液体注入这个模型里，出来都是一个样子。不管什么人进入极权制度这个模型，出来都是两个背
靠背的连体人：专制者和奴隶的连体，在下级面前是专制者，在上级面前是奴隶。这是极权制度下的人性。

不该被遗忘的历史
我当年在辽宁采访时，张志新的案卷只有一个材料没有允许我看，这便是张志新被枪毙后的照片。
“弹中头部一枪击毙”，张志新的刑场执行记录只有这寥寥8个字，“弹中头部”等于是面目全非，现场肯定非常悲惨，我猜想这也是他们不让我看案卷的真正原因吧。在枪毙张志新之前，公安部门到农 村找到曾真和两个孩子，他们表示“不要尸骨”。后来遗体也找不到了，辽宁省后来追认张志新为革命烈士的平反大会上，张志新的大女儿林林实际上拿的是一个空骨灰盒。
当年收到的大量读者来信中，其中两封谈到张志新遗体的下落。一封说，张志新的尸体被沈阳医学院附属医院用汽车运走，放在水泥池子里，用药水泡上，做病理解剖实用。另一封来自辽宁中医院，信中说张志新被杀害后，尸体被拉回沈阳，“把她剖腹挖心，取得内脏”后才火化，“这是千真万确的”。我的个人推测倾向于被用做医学研究了。遗憾的是，张志新遗体下落这个谜至今没揭开。
张志新被割喉管，也成为那个时代最血淋淋的一个罪行。但我在采访中发现，其实张志新并不是刑前第一个被割喉管的人。当时有许多犯人行刑前不是大声呼冤，就是高呼口号，有的“反革命犯”还高呼“毛主席万岁”，这被认为影响极坏，于是辽宁公安局有人提出了这一“创举”，主持辽宁党政军全面工作的毛远新等当权人物同意了这一“捍卫毛泽东思想”的创造性的“新生事物”。

2000年1月的中国媒体，在广州、上海、北京，用同样的文字和内容，统一报导了一个秘密：30年前，也就是1970年1月5日，云南发生过一场里氏7.7级特大地震。地震的中心在通海，灾区有7个县：峨山、建水、华宁、玉溪、石屏、江川，都在其内。报导说，这场地震，死亡15,621人，受伤26,783人，塌房33万多间， 经济损失按照现在的可比价格计算，通海一县即达人民币217亿元。报导又说，地震发生后，灾区老百姓虽然得到了几十万册《毛主席语录》和几十万个毛主席像章，但救灾物资少得可怜。
这么大的天灾，居然向老百姓保密，隐瞒了30年，在这个地球上真可以称得上绝无仅有！为什么保密？怎么样保密？现在发表的那篇揭露当时秘密的通稿中是这样说的：“由于当时处于‘文革’特殊时期，仅由新华社对外发了一条简短消息，只字不提受灾情况，而且把震级压低了。”
文革期间所以连地震都要保密，确实不可思议，只有“特殊时期”4个字能够解释。文革在残暴和虚弱两方面都到了特殊的程度。由此可以得出结论：在能够发生文化大革命的中国土地上，保密的范围是能够随着统治者的意志任意覆盖任何事物的。保密、保密，统治者不想叫老百姓知道的一切事情统统都是“密”，即使在人命关天的紧急救援关头也不准放松。其中的规律是：保密的范围，既和统治者的残暴程度成正比，也和统治者的虚弱程度成正比。文革是风雨飘摇、草木皆兵的特殊不稳定时期，领导者经常处在心惊肉跳的困境之中，无怪乎地震也成了保密的对象之一。

考教授：“文革”荒诞事
１９７３年１２月３０日，国务院科教组、北京市科教组召开会议，决定对教授“突 然袭击”，进行考试。上午开完会就组织人员在清华出题，下午就带着考卷到１７所院校 去考教授。他们以开教授座谈会为名，把６５０余名教授骗到考场进行“突然袭击”。发 下考题后，强迫这些多年来从事 文史哲、外语、体育、艺术、医学等专业研究的教授们当 场答卷。试题不顾教授专长，分政治、语文、数学、理化四部分，考试结果及格６５人， 占１０％；不及格５８５人，占９０％，有的更交了白卷。
１９７４年１月３日，上海市革委会文教组召开各大学负责人会议，决定对大学正、 副教授进行一次考试，考题以１９７３年高校招生测试中若干中等水平的试题为主要内容 。１月５日上午，市革委会文教组对全市１８所高校的教授进行考试。其中复旦大学将正 副教授集中到一个大教室，主持人宣布立即进行考试，试卷是本校各科的入学试卷，包括 政治、语文、数学、物理、化学。政治考试的内容有党在社会主义时期的基本路线，毛泽 东讲话原文及其发表时间、地点，列宁论帝国主义的特点，“鞍钢宪法”，三大纪律八项 注意；语文有《红楼梦》《三国演义》《水浒传》《西游记》《儒林外史》《天问》《资 治通鉴》《论衡》《聊斋志异》等的作者及写作时代等。
因“术业有专攻”，很多教授没有答上来。
这次考试是“极左”派“教育革命”的杰作，考试的结果被作为资产阶级知识分子毫 无知识、一窍不通、连大学生入学资格都没有的事例而广泛宣传。复旦大学考试的结果更 在上海广泛传达，如著名历史学家周谷城写不出三大纪律八项注意、某教授本专业的试卷 考了不及格以及某些“反动学术权威”全部交了白卷等等。
１９７９年，上海电影制片厂拍摄的电影《苦恼人的笑》，再现了“考教授”这一中 国教育史上荒诞的一幕——１９７５年冬，一位记者奉市委宋书记之命到医学院去采访“ 教授考试”，当一位白发苍苍的老教授受考官们愚弄，错把肛门表放入口中，引起考官们 笑骂时，记者震惊了。但让记者更加震惊的是，宋书记遇车祸重伤时，却指名让老教授给 他做手术，且手术成功后仍坚持批判老教授。电影对当年黑白颠倒的现实进行了深刻的反 思。

请看“标准答案”：规定外宾问及“文化大革命”，须应对“很有必要”；问到“五 七干校”、“上山下乡”，对以“大有好处”、“很受锻炼”；问到工资收入、家庭生活 ，要答“够用”、“生活很好”，不能说出具体薪额。因为外国人贼精灵，根据薪额可推 算出国民生产总值，进而测算出军工生产与国防实力，小数字连着国家大机密呢！所有问 题中，只有一项提问“可如实回答”——家里有几口人？就这“可如实回答”，也惹生一 桩笑话。一位外宾向一老头拉家常：“家里有几口人？”老头生怕答错担不起责任，一紧 张，便像在居委会考试一样，慌忙回答：“可如实回答”，外宾一头雾水，莫名其妙。
几位当年过来人十分懊恼未能保留下那张“标准答案”。那会儿，恭敬接下，过后随 手一扔，没想到这是珍贵的“第一手史料”。

有的人把民主制度神化了，就像崇拜神一样崇拜民主制度，就像有的人像崇拜神一样崇拜川普。川普胜选了，怎么会这样？民主制度下怎么会选择这种人渣上台？人民群众怎么了？
这些人忘记了一点，人民群众的选择并非100正确，也并非是100%正义，它只是表达了人民群众当下的利益诉求。民主制度只不过是最不坏的制度，它只是亚里士多德列举的四种政体的其中之一。
独裁者也善于把握群众的思想动态。罗马内战，庞培逃往埃及，被埃及国王，即埃及艳后的弟弟，抓起来砍了头，装在罐子里，送给追杀而来的凯撒。凯撒在内战记里写到：“我来到亚历山大，听到了庞培的死讯”。这句话很牛逼，它用寥寥数语陈述了潜在的事实：庞培不是我杀的。庞培是罗马人心目中的英雄，少年得志，开疆扩土，比凯撒齐名要早。如果凯撒把亲手庞培杀掉，罗马人会极度厌恶凯撒，这对于还要依靠罗马人的选票成为独裁官的凯撒来说，必须要把准罗马群众的思想动态。
凯撒带兵进入罗马，触犯了罗马法律，群众无所谓；但凯撒若杀了庞培，群众就有所谓了。
所以，问你美国是法治国家吗？你回答是。再问你一次，美国是法治国家吗？不一定啊，你触犯了法律，但群众认为无所谓，甚至认为你无罪，认为你是被陷害的，你可能真的是在法律之上了。
换句话说，群众认为你能解决他们的问题，你是不是罪犯，群众无所谓。一定程度上，美国群众和中国群众没有差别。

很多人不愿承认:
承认现实，接受既成事实，是件很难的事。绝大多数人做不到。
这个在股票市场反应得最明显:
成本压力。
交易无论是买，还是卖，其实都应该基于当下的现实变化，权衡概率做最优决策。
卖的时候不应该考虑成本价是多少。
过多考虑成本导致的盈利只会因为上一个判断错误导致这个决策有更大概率出错。
但现实里绝大多数人，包括我在内。在卖时，都会被自己的买价掣肘，或至少影响。
这种影响权重不一。
有的人是只要亏着，那绝对不卖。
有的人是没赚够自己心里的小目标，一定不卖。
我是基于计算逻辑的目标价为主考虑，捎带尽可能兼顾战绩好看些。
我知道后者这种想法不仅是错的，伤害可能还不小。
不过人么，又不是机器，总有点小心思，只不过我愿意承认，正视并说出来。

How long is the video in minutes? 21MiB should allow for at least 3-5m in 720p(HD) if compressed right. Try using Handbreak and encode for the web and keep resolution under 720p with 30fps or less. Do quality based compression and use 30 as the target to achieve good results

也是巧了，刚和老友聊到对价值投资理念的新生质疑。
虽然聊的时间很短，点全覆盖到了，也促生了我的一点新想法，分享到这。
（长，不喜别看。没看完别和我互动）
逻辑是这样的。
今天都在等政策落地，但是说实话，我们并不太期待。
大规模经济刺激其实能投的地方也就那么几个，如果大头还落在已经边际效应为负的基建类投资上，那只有很短的刺激效果，摆脱不了通缩趋势。
而底层能解决问题的分配结构性调整，目前看，根本就没想过去碰。
真要摆脱，目前唯一的成功案例是科技革命，生产效率暴增。
这点，我们在技术和制度层面都不具备触发的可能性，设备上还被封锁。
技术和制度上走前面的都还被卡着突破不过去，我们可以弯道超车？
缺好些个身位的我们就算有幸给过去了，落地还要时间吧，还有那么多时间让我们通过这种憋气的方式争取到么？
而且即便搞成了，以当下缩减社会福利保障和印钱的趋势看，也无法在消费环节承接住，所以形成不了闭环。
（稍微有点一线产业观察的都清楚现在机器替代人推进得多快，生产效率的提升，一定会减少就业，没有就业，又没有再分配提供的社会福利，消费的钱从哪里来？
无锚印钱又同步加速减少消费的潜在能力。）
消费萎缩，企业产能就卖不出去，至少销量不好，那企业持续向好发展的逻辑就要被质疑。
价值投资至少要中长期看，这个公司的估值以后会比现在更好，好歹跑赢无风险套利。
而基于这个电梯下行，企业也跟着大踏步向下推导。
以及大势已经不再“发展是硬道理”，转而“稳定压倒一切”。
为了稳定，有意压制民间资本。
那价值投资的底层逻辑就已被彻底动摇，价值价投，是否有战略性误判的可能？
换个悲哀的说法，长期帮我投资盈利的底层逻辑就不存在了，就像《三体》里描述的，“物理学不存在了”
你能感受这对我们的冲击么？
我们在投资上，和你们一样了。
换句话说，我们除了有成功案例能拿来唬人，真实的投资能力可能和大家回到了同一起跑线。
虽然也没什么光环，就普通人一个，失去了可以依仗的一技之长，还是有点慌的。
不过和老友有个共同的优点，我们即便面对再难的困境，都会先直面现实，承认现状。然后，假设我们被替换掉，接替我们的人为了扭转困局会怎么干。
这样思考之后，结果很清晰了，趁着先知先觉，调整转型。趁着还能调动的资源多，快速试错探新路。
再回到和你们有关的。

As much as I would love Snowden to be able to move back, even if he could, how safe would he be? I know there are probably still a bunch of whack-a-doos that hate him.
