I think Bitcoin will be the world currency but may not be the universal currency. You need forks of bitcoin or some other commodity to go interplanetary or at the very least to go interstellar. It's kind of like how tobacco was a good currency in colonial Virginia, as it was tied to the local resources and proof of work in that area.
This type of governance will exist as long as the current fiat bond market exists.
Once the bonds die, the governance dies.

The teaaching profession is “misogynistic” and the Scottish Government must do more to tackle the issue, a trade union leader has said. In his outgoing speech, Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) president Allan Crosbie said female teachers are being exploited in their early careers and face being driven out of the profession later in life.
He was speaking at the union’s annual general meeting in Aviemore in Inverness-shire on Thursday, saying teachers need more than “warm words” from the SNP administration. Some 27% of female teachers reported being hit or punched, compared to 13% of male teachers. And 20% of female teachers reported being kicked, compared to 8% of male teachers. While rates of verbal abuse were virtually identical for both sexes, female teachers suffered more frequently – 37% said they were verbally abused several times a week on average, compared to 18% of male teachers. And one in 20 (5%) female teachers reported experiencing sexism and misogyny from pupils, compared to 2% of male teachers. The EIS is Scotland’s largest teaching union with more than 50,000 members. Mr Crosbie’s one-year term as president is coming to an end and he will be replaced by Adam Sutcliffe.

I wouldn’t say the training battle is lost. They are making some strides with new architectures and new ways to train, especially in China where hardware is limited by sanctions. Ultimately, training will have to be able to happen locally so that robots and local reasoning computers can learn and operate without having to reach out to a remote server.
