Sadly things will probably need to get worse before anything gets better.
I have family in different parts and they don't really notice or acknowledge the creeping enshitification that's happening around them. Its easy to notice things as an outsider who visits occasionally, but they are the frogs being slowly cooked (even though that analogy is bs since frogs do jump out of pots that are getting too hot lol)

Im not in the EU, but one is threats of fines to member countries. One example is the immigration issue. Here's a summerizer:
