A lot of medical (and veternary) care is not much better than not doing it.
For example, dogs limping on their back leg that have torn their cranial cruciate ligiment (like the human ACL)... that heals on it's own if you put the dog in a cage for 3 weeks or so. This is now recognized by the industry as "conservative management" but you used to be told that the dog needed surgery. Still they say this only works for small dogs. But this worked for my very large 60kg German shepherd.
Sholder impingement used to get surgery to grind down the acromion to make more space for the tendon. Now they don't do that, they just do physical therapy - just spending a little time hanging from something fixes this (if you have this problem, don't immediately put all your weight into the hang while it is impinged you have to get it to slip through first).
People spend huge sums on surgery or orthotics for plantar fasciitis when $5 athletic tape quickly cures most cases.
There will always be people and subsections of the medical industry dominated by people who are trying to get rich and aren't entirely ethical.
That doesn't mean the entire industry should be discarded, just that you have to do some digging and be choosey.

I agree with all of this but also think that most people don't use bunkers or extensions either. They'll use nsec.app or enter their nsec. Most people don't use browser extensions I've found over the past year. This was wild to me.

A feedback:
The login screen shows a “nsec / user@nsec.app” suggestion, but it can actually be used with any bunker url; I would highlight this.
Then I think that the main options should be Nostr Connect and the extension, I would move the "danger" nsec option below, with a proper disclaimer.
You should also hide the extension button if it is not present (and maybe show a box that explain why and how the user should install it), currently it just fires an error in console without any visible feedback.

Ehm. Da ist wohl die falsche Note verlinkt worden. Ich antwortete auf eine Note aus dem Globalfeed mit einem Link zu einer Seite des SWR, der über Problematiken bei Abschiebungen berichtete. Und das es juristisch nicht möglich sei Menschen aus bestimmten Herkunftsländern Asyl zu verwehren.
Das Abschiebungen bei den "falschen" Menschen meist juristisch kein Problem darstellen, wie in der Note, die ich fälschlicherweise verlinkt habe, finde ich erschreckend. Es gibt viel zu viele Beispiele für gut integrierte Menschen, die abgeschoben werden. Die, die Kriminell sind und eigentlich abgeschoben werden sollten, können aus juristischen Gründen dann aber nicht abgeschoben werden. Wie kann das sein?
Darauf bezog sich meine Note. In dem Kontext der von mir verlinkten Note ist meine Antwort sicherlich für viele verletzend und für diesen Fehler entschuldige ich mich.
Aber mal im ernst: Wie kann es sein, dass es bei Abschiebungen so ein Ungleichgewicht zu Lasten unserer Gesellschaft gibt? Das verstehe ich nicht.

Maybe just the first view / above the scroll. I think being informative is good and the whole page does a great job, but that first view to me just screams wordy and technical. It's not, and I don't mind reading it, but when coming from a non technical point of view, I think it's a bit much.
I don't eliminate that as a possibility at all. It'll travel the path of greatest pain. Therefore if most people think it'll stop around $200K and pile on the shorts around there, it'll probably rocket up to $500K, THEN they'll be convinced it'll run out of steam, and it'll rocket up to a Mil, and then they'll be so scared of it they won't know what to do, and they'll just dump the crumbs they have left over into it, and it'll finally crash all the way back down to $250K, before - in utter despair - they sell everything... and it starts a strong climb again. 🤣

as long as government has the authority to throw you in prison for not paying taxes, your not using their money doesn't take away their power.
it is still feudalism where you pay them in exchange for them allowing you to live. you are a still a serf.
whether you pay a knight or king or to the church or to mafia or to government - you are a slave.
in fact the money used during feudalism was hard money - it was literally basically just gold and silver shaped into coins - and people were just as enslaved as they are now.
the job of people is to produce goods and die in wars. the job of government is to rob and enslave and send people to their deaths.
money is just an accounting system. it has changed throughout history but relationship between people and government never changed even as we renamed it from democracy ( Greece ) to republic ( Rome ) to feudalism ( middle age Europe ) to republic ( Early America ) to democracy ( what we are told we have now )
the entire "bitcoin solves this" narrative is just a pump, same as how Elon's "DOGE" ( department of government efficiency ) is a pump.
i frankly do not understand why little guys choose to pump assets when it would be a much better use of their time to simply switch to a different asset that is already being pumped by somebody bigger.
i mean it takes a million bitcoiners pumping hard to pump bitcoin up in a year by the same percentage that some other meme coin can be pumped up by a single individual ( like Elon or Andrew Tate ) overnight.
no need to for reading any books by Lyn Alden - you just have to be fast - you need to both buy and then sell faster than others do it.
for example when Trump won coins went up. you didn't need to know anything about coins to play that trade - you just needed to know that Trump is seen as pro-coin. you could have leveraged that trade and made bank.
this is how smart people make money. preferably using insider information but as you can see in this case it was not necessary to have insider information.
meanwhile fools spend all of their time telling everybody about Bitcoin and in the end make exactly the same amount of money as somebody who simply holds Bitcoin and never talks about it. a waste.
REMEMBER, YOU ARE NOT BULLISH ENOUGH.

只要继续加强阵营壁垒，起用大量鹰派，收紧移民政策，对来自伤害链国家的一切影响力都高度警惕，因此把本国消费力留在国内，把本国的买家留给本国的卖家，他就会得到经济数据和选票的奖励。
双链争持，争的是什么？
在经济层面，今天的两大阵营正在激烈争夺的，正是消费力。
而两大阵营在消费力生成能力方面的差异，在对待消费力再生成的态度上的差异，是不可能被改变的。
伤害链阵营绝不可能容许底层生产者拥有能支撑起社会经济循环的消费力。
消费力也是“力”，容许底层拥有能支撑社会运转的消费力，就等于容许底层拥有主导社会运转的力量，等于容许伤害链上层赖以为生的伤害力落差消失。
但产业链阵营需要生产者拥有能支撑起社会经济循环的消费力。
卖家需要有足够的买家。
哪怕寅吃卯粮的买家，透支信用卡消费的买家。
只要透支信用卡消费的买家能通过个人奋斗、技能升级在未来赚取足够薪水，把债还上，这个循环体系就能保持运转。
但如果买家没法赚到足够收入支付信用卡帐单，如果买家们作为个人的财务平衡无以为继，卖家就会产能过剩，最终破产。
两大阵营最根本的利益冲突就在这里。
一个先天上就无法保持本国消费力平稳循环的伤害链国家，想维持其经济增长，是只能依赖外部的消费力“输血”的。
伤害链国家要么卖矿产，要么卖“人矿”。它们只能通过外贸来维持本国经济运转，只要没有了外贸，它们就一定会丧失因外贸收入而获得的享受现代生活品质的机会，并同时丧失由外贸收入保障的现代军工能力，由此影响其统治阶层对伤害力落差的维护。
但产业链国家的需求恰好相反。
产业链国家的消费力是能持续再生，也必须持续再生的，它也想要外贸，想要更多外部消费力的输入，但它最需要的不是外贸，而是消费力的不流失。
但这里的“不流失”，并不等于消费力只能在一个产业链国家内部流转。
这里的“不流失”，是指消费力不能流向只生产而不消费的地区，不能流向只消耗消费力而不能再生消费力的“黑洞”式国家。
也就是不能流向阵营之外。
而在阵营之内，在因更平衡的分配格局同样能不断再生出消费力的产业链国家之间进行贸易，进行消费力的互换，并不会减少阵营内部消费力的总量，也不会破坏“消费-再消费”的平稳循环。
相反，同阵营不同国家之间对消费力的争抢一旦形成良性竞争，就能刺激生产者提供更好服务、加速技术升级，从而促成整体消费能力缓慢提升。
因此，产业链国家对外贸的态度通常也是积极的。
这就令它们在面对更积极寻求外贸机会的伤害链国家时，很容易误以为对方是同类，因此丧失警惕。
但“吃一堑，长一智”。
当产业链国家醒悟过来，当这些国家通过加强阵营壁垒“堵”住令消费力源源流失漏进黑洞的破口，并惊喜地发现本国的经济数据由此得到改善，本国的民生，本国选民对政客的态度都因此改变，他们就会一再重复做正确的事。
他们会收回曾伸向伤害链国家的友谊之手，会正视这些国家作为“消费力黑洞”的特质，会严肃对待与这些国家进行外贸对本国经济的负面影响。
在利益驱动下，他们最终会令“消费-再消费”的循环成为产业链阵营的内循环。

Now, with no car payments and no house payment, I can live comfortably without a large income. When you are young, you can do the extra work. When you are older, it is so much harder. But: Some years ago I found a "money glitch".
I played some games to earn EOS and nfts. These nfts where part of collections, that if completed led to points that I can collect. 50k Points can be used to open a chest. In this chest there are nfts, eos up to 50usd worth or points.
Once I accumulated 3Million points I started selling the nfts, to get more eos. (Btc was at 15k at that time 😎). As you don't need to kyc yourself when depositing crypto I send the eos to an exchange and swap for BTC. I accumulated a nice amount of sats with this "strategy". Now I only visit the page once a day to open the chest. Once a week I sell the nfts I won or send the eos from the sales to the exchange.

我知道许多人都还沉浸在胜利或失败的情绪里，还没法迅速恢复客观，理性推测将由川普和他的支持者们主导的美国政策方向。
尤其是在简中圈，很多人仍把川普看成一名挑战者，现存秩序的破坏者。
但真相是什么？
真相是，选民选择他的理由，不是他擅长破坏，而是他承诺了建设 。
川普承诺了要让美国再次伟大，选民们选择了相信他，给他四年，让他尝试，尝试建设出一个选民们希望看到的美国，希望生活于其中的美国。

因为常识是，一个这么庞大的团队不可能全由傻瓜、疯子组成。一个能获得那么多选票的候任总统组建的班底，不可能不具备一定程度的政治理性。
事实是，川普的思路，支持川普的MAGA集团的思路，包括投票给川普的选民们的思路，是围绕着怎样建设一个他们理想中的美国转的。
这一届政府的所有政策，从关税到外交到移民政策，都会为他们的理想服务。
所以，想弄明白未来四年会发生什么，你需要知道，他们的理想是什么。
那个为川普拉到无数选票，聚拢起无数支持者的，理想中的美国，是什么。
可能很多人会以为川普要建设的，是一个“更保守的美国”。
但如果川普的梦想仅止于此，他不可能拉到那么多人的选票。自诩精英的知识分子群体最容易犯的错误，是把多数选民看成愚蠢的、极易受骗的、在投票前不会深思熟虑，不会从自身利益出发分析候选人政纲的庸众。
但他们错了。
我是看到了每位我认识的投票者在事前花了多少工夫去研判和比较双方优劣的，即使身在红州的朋友知道投哈里斯没什么意义，即使身在蓝州的朋友清楚自己那张票影响不了大局。
在美国，选票，是选民用来打造自己想生活于其中的政策环境的最有力工具。
而他们选择了让川普去建设一个他们想要生活在其中的政策环境，一个和民主党描绘的愿景不同的，他们更偏爱的政策环境，一个能让他们的生活比之前更安稳、更有希望的前景。
一个能拒绝伤害链国家的反渗透对产业链阵营造成的损害的前景。
川普承诺让制造业回流美国，让美国人拿回流失到中共国等伤害链国家的工作岗位，让美国的经济不再因消费力流失持续失血，让普通人的生活状态，恢复成他的支持者们曾经很熟悉的样子。
这就是他赢的原因。
他承诺的，是让普通人的生活，恢复成他们熟悉的样子。
恢复成伤害链国家的影响没有反渗透到产业链国家时的样子。
而他选择的手段，是重设阵营壁垒。
双链争持！
如果不从双链争持的历史大背景来理解川普的横空出世和他成功拉到的大量支持，你就没有办法理解包括川普的胜选在内的全球“右转”风潮，也无法抓住预测川普政府未来政策方向的关键。
但如果你从双链争持的角度看川普的胜利，把从川普到米莱的选战胜利都看成产业链阵营的自我修复，把他们许多看似大搞孤立主义、民粹主义的举动，都纳入阵营分化的范畴分析，你就会发现，这些举动的真意，在于强化阵营壁垒、明晰阵营立场。
而这些举动的效果，也正是用强化阵营壁垒，明晰阵营立场，来维护阵营利益。
产业链阵营的根本利益是什么？
是繁荣。
是维护繁荣预期。
表面上看，是维护本国的经济增长速率，但实际上是通过维护本国的经济增长来维护每个具体个人的生活状态，维护每个选民在个人生活中的繁荣预期。
想维护个人生活的繁荣预期，你需要做什么？
你需要让每个人都有工作，都对自己能找到工作充满信心。
而想做到这一点，关键在哪里？
在于维系社会消费力的存续，保证在“生产-再生产”的循环之外更重要的“消费-再消费”的循环。
生产力很重要。
但对社会的可持续发展来说，消费力更重要。让市场上一直存在“买家”，更重要。
而一个社会的消费力，从哪里来？
从绝大多数普通人的购买力中来，从他们的可支配收入中来，从他们在整个社会的财富分配格局里占据的地位中来。
中共国的发展无以为继，正是因为以中共国的分配格局，消费力无法实现“消费-再消费”的稳定循环。
所有的伤害链国家都不可能改变其必然走向失衡的分配格局。
它们只能象吸血鬼一样吸取别国的消费力，维系本国的经济平衡。
而产业链国家是有办法实现“消费-再消费”的稳定循环的。
因为虽然消费力在循环过程中会有损耗，但增量博弈的特性能抵消这些损耗。因为产业升级、技能升级会给消费者提供增加收入的机会，令他们通过个人奋斗，成为消费力越来越强的个体，从而支撑住整个系统的消费力循环——如果产业链国家的消费力没有大量流失到伤害链国家。

首先，作者选择的是SUV，SUV体积较大，视野较高，且一般使用更大的轮子，所以不容易在实施第一次撞击以后被撞的停下来，而即使汽车停下来，由于SUV比较高大的原因，附近人员也更难以通过砸玻璃、拉门的形式把驾驶员从驾驶室拖下来制服。
其次，与之前无数次的类似案件，选择在十字路口不同，之前的作案者往往选择人流量大的十字路口，但在十字路口发难，往往导致人群从四面八方逃离，因此真能创到的人往往不多，也就5-15人的情况，而本次案件，事主选择了封闭，有围挡，且只有2个出口的环形跑道，导致绝大多数人员是很难逃离的，只能被在封闭空间不断驱赶，实际上比较幸运的是当天跑步的人真不算多，要是人更多的情况下，发生踩踏的次生伤害也会是非常惨烈的。
最后，本次案件的事主并不坚持一下子发飙，一脚油门上去到极速然后因为车辆难以控制就怼到附近墙上动弹不得，他始终很清楚，车战的最大问题是车停下来以后，在当时的情况下，无论是倒车还是重新启动，都是非常困难的，因此，他始终坚持以一个中高速（据现场人员说车子的速度并不是特别快，大概就50-60码，当然人跑步肯定是赶不上的）绕着跑道不断创人，压人，这其实是符合古代骑兵作战原则的，当年李如松在碧蹄馆作战，人困马乏也绝对不下马作战，就是这一原则的体现。
不得不说，事主这次为车战提供的技术提升，是具有重大创新性的。
太长不看版本，高杀伤力的原因总结：
1，车辆选择：SUV有优势
2，地点选择：封闭环形跑道，不利逃跑，人员集中。
3，驾驶策略：中高速绕道撞击，车辆一直持续稳定可控地杀伤。
核心要点：杀手是有想法有思路的。相比过往的车战，进行了战术创新。
想想受害者如果在封闭跑道被SUV追逐，这可真是恐怖又绝望。

every time i use chachi.chat, which is awesome by the way, reminds me of a family wedding about 10 years ago.
after the wedding reception ended. we went back to the hotel and commandeered the hotel bar and turned it into one hell of an after party. we took over the entire hotel bar and lobby area. music was bumping. drinks were flowing. good times were being had. our wedding party and family of roughly 50 people were having a blast.
then a random guy showed up at the bar. he watched me buy a round of shots for about 12 family members and he wanted one.
i included him and got him one. he told me that his name was 'Chachi'. he said that he wanted to do another round and he would buy the next round.
after that round, i told him he was now part of the family. so, he bought everyone a third round. i told him some stories, as you do when you're drinking. (have we drank alcohol together? you will understand this part of my personality. im a story teller.)
this Chachi guy was just like me, a real partier, a real story teller, he became my new best friend. we were making sure everyone was having a good time. walking around to every little group, mingling.
my aunt comes up to me and tells me she's very impressed how i got some random guy to buy 2 rounds of shots for all of us. i said, i bet if i buy another round, he'd buy another round of drinks for everyone. i was confident he'd do it. after all, he was like me.
i bought another round and sure enough, he bought the next.
things at this point get a little blurry at this point...
long story short, the next morning when we came downstairs to get breakfast, Chachi was sleeping on the hotel lobby couch.

we had a good time discussing the previous night's happenings, laughing, reminiscing, and saying our goodbyes.
i was a little sad that i'd never see Chachi again. after all, we got along so very well the night before.
about 2 months later, one of my cousin's saw Chachi at a bowling alley. she went up to him saying calling Chachi, Chachi, etc. his friends looked at him like who the hell is this random girl yelling at you a name that is clearly not your name.

前段时间检查了过敏源。我打小就知道我不能碰猫，我每次撸了猫就会流鼻涕、打喷嚏、眼睛通红且巨痒，这应该是心有余而力不足。但从来没有通过科学去论证，靠观察和经验总结出的，这次检查算是确认了。后来有一次我带我儿子去朋友公司时，公司有只猫，他撸的很带劲，大概一小时后，脸上肚子上全是疹子鼓包啥的，明确遗传了我对猫的过敏体质。
另外我想问问蒿是个什么玩意？这大概就是我“过敏性鼻炎”的根源了，换季啥的可能无意中就中招了，狂打喷嚏。没有辅舒良我就凉了。

很多人发了一段视频，说某公司设备可以读取手机所有信息，连苹果最新的ios 18也能破解，有锁屏密码都没用，据我所知是不能的。当然我去问了视频中所说公司的创始人兼ceo，对方表示没有的事。当然这个设备是存在的，也确实可以读取信息，但是在一定情况下。至少iphone锁屏没有密码是不行的。

我们公司招的那个公安系统出来的，真是个人才，100多个同时进行的项目，数十个机房的房租，物业费，项目中的内容还有很多交叉，居然都不会乱，一个个表格清晰展示，我也真是服了。本来想怎么也要请至少3个人，没想到一个人就全干玩了，还把行政，人力招聘，日常采购等工作也都兼了，公务员这个能力，还真是可以的。

马斯克这个政府效率部是很牛x的。马斯克之前说了目标是把政府预算从6.5万亿削减两万亿。美国是分赃政治，以钱管人。所有政治博弈围绕着争取预算。州长、联邦参议院、众议员、各行政系统头头脑脑主要工作就是争取预算。
先不说能不能砍掉两万亿，砍谁不砍谁。只要刀拿起来，各路人马就听话了。而且根本不用一个个裁人。整个部门的预算被取消了，就集体下岗了。
今天看到消息。说是马斯克准备把这事儿上网，让群众来提意见哪些部门行尸走肉，要裁撤。马老师心思太活络了。这么一来，就不是我要搞你，而是群众的呼声。估计某些人的第一步公关方向就是千万不要让我们上热搜。给自己的平台带一波流量都是小意思了。[允悲][允悲]
