You should check out this book called The Blocksize Wars - it will give you a whole history of why small blocks are preferable. If you don’t have time for that the HBO documentary on Bitcoin is supposed to have a section dedicated to describing this time in Bitcoin history (small vs large blocks).

Always willing to share - most importantly enjoy the ride and support the wife! You get to experience one of life’s mysteries up close and it’s something to behold.
Last tip - pick your stroller first then infant carrier and car seat base. Sometimes they can be incompatible or require an adaptor. We found the best bang for the buck was Graco.
Supper last tip - your stacking will slow but that is ok. Your priorities will change and that’s a good thing. Excited for you and the family!

Some days it’s all about just surviving! I try to keep in mind that I didn’t get fat overnight and I’m not going to get stronger overnight either.
My worry is I don’t want to get complacent but rather reach the goal of being able to do 100 good pushups one day. Thank you for the encouragement and support!

Day 200: #100pushups + 100 sit-ups + 100 sit-ups MOAR! Had to be ‘whole’ for this post after missing a few days due to last week’s fishing trip!
I started this journey back on January 30th, Bitcoin was ~43k (now hovering around 60k), I was 17 lbs heavier, and I hadn’t “worked out” in years. I’ve learned to give myself some grace and if my arms/shoulders didn’t feel right to do 100 sit-ups or squats. Getting a short workout done is more important than many other activities and it takes commitment and dedication to ‘get it done’.
When this challenge is over I intend on making up all the pushups that I had subbed in the prior 200+ days.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but have so much further to go. If I can give any advice to overweight aging dudes it’s:
Listen to your body but keep pushing yourself - no one else will.
