I use it for zapping and receiving to the lightning address. I've onboarded a couple of people into BTC with it. I send them payments for cigars or ammo or whatever little thing we're swapping. For big payments I use my own node, but Coinos is easier for the small day to day stuff.

Monero is cash and can be treated as such. With Bitcoin a business is required to KYC and if any part of a transaction has what the authorities consider to be taint then your entire transaction can be frozen and the coins confiscated from you and the service not rendered. No thank you. That sounds like a horrible way to conduct business. Besides, custodial equals IOU and IOU equals can be removed at any time for any reason.

I'dnt advocate to use it for home security due to its cloud nature and videos ended up god knows where but as a temporary measure it can be great in many situations where you need some assurance that your things were not tampered with.
