So, I am thinking, this leak makes poa.st an untenable position, my reasoning is:
Fed posts have to be removed immediately because Journalists write articles about it. Or like the recent FSE incident with P, where someone sold a scraped fed post to the feds.
My guess is, the DMs contain a non-trivial amount of fed posts. Therefor, it is just a matter of time before poa.st as a business entity starts to receive attention they can't handle.

apt, pip, npm, quicklisp, M-x package-install, I honestly hate all these things.
I would pay money for a bundled version of these things, so that when I download them, I know "Hey, you've got the important stuff, your installation is feature complete, and if you need to reinstall, you already have all the files".
There is a lot to be said for things like AHK or Godot or a browser, because you know what you have will just work, and you don't have to worry about some centralized service failing.

Nice clean functions for grabbing the state of a bone, exporting it to text, mirroring it, and setting it.

Well, English certainly isn't our friend when trying to convey ideas xD The most correct thing I can say is that pursuing either ideal of learning or doing to excess will create error. But, I was trying to impart the danger of excess learning in my examples. And, from where I am standing, it is always better to come down on the side of "doing" because learning will always be an implicit and automatic byproduct.
As I push the boundaries of what I can do, for the sake of game development and art, I am finding it more and more necessary to "do what I know, even though it doesn't seem ideal" instead of "pausing to learn the correct way". The former brings progress, and the ladder seems to bring progress to a halt (almost like it doesn't belong in the creation process, and I am beginning to more strongly believe that it should be something for a separate time).

Engineers often write some of the worst code lol, but it usually works, and the inefficiencies do not matter when it is a one off, or if it only takes a few minutes to run xD I've even worked with some, that wrote code that took a whole day to run, but it produced correct results, and their papers were accepted and published xD

All this talk of learning has reminded me of an experience.
Long ago, on a website I do not recall. I read an article. It highlighted a solo game project, where the dev was a teenager who self taught programming. He had created a Link's Awakening type 2d game, one level.
The first version of the article praised the effort and focused on, actually doing something. But! there was an ocean of feedback on the game and the article, about how it was not coded with best practices. The dev even used GOTO (GASP!).
The second version of the article focused on learning best practices and not getting ahead of yourself.
What is the moral of this story? Well, the lesson taught here, was that, your program's value isn't in the end result, but in the technical details of how you get there.
And, upon reflection of my own life, back before I was introduced to these ideals of implementation purity, I wrote my three most widely used programs xD One in AutoHotKeys, one in TIBasic, and one in MATLAB.
That was before my education on programming. Since starting my education, I've spent years learning, but produce few programs that other people or even myself use. It really is better to DO instead of to LEARN. Something I am now embracing.

I ran into something similar with minecraft mods. It is very strange to me that the creator side of things is so overwhelmed with fatally compromised world views.
My conjecture is that, for their wicked ideas they get help, from other people, and from the spiritual world.
Meanwhile, /ourguys/ get hindered by other people and from the spiritual world.
A lot of that is based on my own experience trying to make games by developing code and art. There have been SO MANY forks in the road, on the left, immediate results tied to principal compromises, on the right, searching blindly in the dark but I get to keep my principals xD
After many years on the "path not taken", I am finally to the point where I can create things. I look back at my path and think "a mentor could have got me to this same place in a tenth of the time".

Some people have suggested finger printing blockers. HOWEVER, the root cause seems to be something with the format of the images. Same file format, same image, same resolution, but one looks like your screenshot and one looks fine in the browser.
I don't actually know what the hang up is, but what ever it is, things like Krita seen to preserve the issue. However, if I force a rendered version to be created, by taking a screen shot, or some other method, it will display just fine.

Oh! Another big one, that I've talked about on fedi before, is the amount of dust on the moon.
They measured solar dust in different ways leading up to the moon landing. It was predicted there would be A LOT because of the rate of dust and the "age" of the solar system. (anyone who claims that it wasn't expected to be a lot, is claiming that their measurements of space dust were small, but that simply isn't the case!)
After they landed on the moon, it was discovered there was very little dust. Amazingly over the next 30 years, solar dust measurements slowly converged (through carefully refined and refined again experiments) to exactly the correct rate to fit their solar timeline. Truly amazing that knowing what the correct answer must be, causes your measurements to converge... But, that is a crock of shit. And any intellectually honest person can admit that, when faced with the history of moon dust.

For example, they claim something like 98% of everything in the universe is unknown "dark matter/energy". However, this means that their model of how things works, requires you to add in 98% more stuff to work... which means their model has 98% error.
I'm not sure if you've ever tried to boil a real world system down into a precise predictive model, but if you have, and your output has 98% error, your model doesn't correlate to reality. Because 98% is effectively 100% error, you can't use it for anything. A 2% correlation shows you don't understand how it works!
For as long as I've been paying attention, youtube has been purging astronomical discoveries that destroy, the generalize Copernican Principle, the sun as a fusion reactor, global warming, and that the earth wobbles.
I just recently learned that those pretty pictures of space nebula, are all false colored, all the colorful images of space, are false colored light from the infra-red spectrum. Space, to the human eye is stark black, with a few points of light, even from the Web telescope. Those pretty clouds of stuff are, to dark to see lol
Anyway yeah, astronomy is mostly the imagination of those who are very bought in on the prescribed truths. Facts that do not support established narratives are suppressed. Theories that provide more complete explanations are suppressed.
It doesn't mean we live on a pancake, it just means the people that lie about everything, aren't concerned with accurately reporting what they find, just reinforcing their authority as the expert.

Conclusions based on facts and logic is great. You can perform high integrity science yourself.
Physics can be proven out your self.
Chemistry is a little harder, but you can do some of that yourself.
Same with astronomy.
Math and geometry proofs are more or less self evident.

Something that was very strange to me, was when the WR turned on Abe, and then he was assassinated.

Using GPT chat to solve real world problems, is a great indication that someone doesn't know what they are doing. (I've run into a few recently IRL)
Reading stackoverflow is still more useful (and better than that is knowing the problem domain yourself), and I don't see the training data improving enough to change that reality.
NN technology in general, is stuck in the realm of digitizing analog input, doing the reverse, and providing low integrity queries against the training data.

It depends on if you like her kids. I know someone that married a widow, and before they died they told me that the reason they married into a pre-made family was because her son was a really great person and turned into a life long friend xD

Today I've been contemplating if a function can be mutable during runtime.
I think the answer is no.
But, you could store the function definition as data, alter it, and update the version being used during runtime.
However, I don't think there is a meaningful difference between this theoretical dynamic function redefinition, and a complex macro that expands to cover all the behavior in the compilation phase. (meaningful difference being in terms of information density of the code)
Essentially, I've been considering if COMMON LISP is the most power, or if it could be more powerful.
Another thought was about if lambda-macros could be used to provide one-off expansions. (it is probably possible to implement using macros or reader-macros but doesn't appear to be part of the default implementation... which seemed odd to me)
