It depends on if you like her kids. I know someone that married a widow, and before they died they told me that the reason they married into a pre-made family was because her son was a really great person and turned into a life long friend xD
Now, if her kids are trash, then she'd have to be pretty great to make up for that, but it would be a reflection on her as a person D:
