A lot of gender stuff cis people take for granted is fake. Some women have masculine features. Some men have feminine features. Gender bending has always been a thing. Women aren't inherently nicer. Men aren't inherently more aggressive.

One of the problems with white liberal "resistance" to fascism is it accepts the anti-democratic features of the US system which fascists exploited to gain power such as the Electoral College or the Senate being stacked in favor of no population red states, while rejecting equally legal countermeasures such as court expansion or adding states, which leaves them with practically nothing except "just vote" because they've already accepted fascism's gains as legitimate.

If you don't live in Texas, you have to understand the Republican legislative agenda is:
1) stripping legal authority from Democratic cities,
2) overriding the votes of Democratic cities,
3) preventing Democrats from being able to vote in the first place,
4) preventing Democrats from winning state offices by requiring they win a majority of white rural conservative counties,
5) ruining the lives of LGBT+ people, and
6) making themselves rich.

Conservatism is essentially an ideology of brutal hypocrisy.
Conservative men want to impose harsh rules on the women in their lives and force them to submit to marriage and sex and to get pregnant against their will, but they personally want easy access to mistresses and other women (and often underaged girls) on the side, as the rules of puritanical patriarchy are meant to be binding on others, not themselves.
