I can't stomach this hate of this new tech. Some people said radio is stupid and a hype. They said the same for TV, for Internet, for gaming, for...
AI is the fastest evolving tech ever and people are complaining it's not absolutely perfect in every way after two years.
#AI is the future. It's clear it's the future.
Plus I bet it's going to be run 100% on renewables at some point while all the other services we use, but the ai haters ignore, still won't be.

I didnt say creating artificial life was the goal of humanity, I said it was a dream of humanity to do it. I dont know what the goal is.
On the other hand I don't think the goal of humanity should be to live sustainably on our planet. Our goal is to thrive, thats it. This planet or another, makes no difference. We obviously should take care of it enough we don't get ourselves in trouble because its the only one we have right now, but thats it.

Of course creating artificial life is the goal. Its about redefining the definitions of life, researching what life is, what consciousness is, what the essential characteristics of life are. Its about morality, religion, the frontiers of human advancement that may be the last technology we even invent.
And in the end, for better and for worse, its about playing god.
I think calling it a hype, like that rude guy, is beyond bizarre.

Probably that's a part of it. And someday it may in some ways become true. The main story is usually to create artificial life.

AI discovering new medicine is the same invention as generative ai. It's a similar thing. The advancement come hand in hand. Some of it is incredible beneficial, some of it makes pictures of cats driving tractors. Just like the same types of rockets that carry bombs started the "space age", these dichotomies are always present.

Sorry but #Ai IS inevitable.
The difference between any other tech you can name is that AI is the dream of humanity since before any machines existed. It is inevitable, we want it, we need it, we yearn for it deep down. We will never just stop dreaming about it after thousands of years. Now, when we may be so close, we want it even more.
Im sure there is a little club that disagrees, but lets not kid ourself this is some kind of a hype.

What will they be asking when it goes to 40k?
#crypto is struggling. Tradfi has evolved so much, it's hard to find real use cases for crypto outside of gambling and extracting value for rich people. Crypto bros have left for AI.
Where can another push for crypto vibe from?

It's a fun project, you will learn a lot and others might learn from this. People that don't want it can choose not to install it.
