AI discovering new medicine is the same invention as generative ai. It's a similar thing. The advancement come hand in hand. Some of it is incredible beneficial, some of it makes pictures of cats driving tractors. Just like the same types of rockets that carry bombs started the "space age", these dichotomies are always present.
