I didnt say creating artificial life was the goal of humanity, I said it was a dream of humanity to do it. I dont know what the goal is.
On the other hand I don't think the goal of humanity should be to live sustainably on our planet. Our goal is to thrive, thats it. This planet or another, makes no difference. We obviously should take care of it enough we don't get ourselves in trouble because its the only one we have right now, but thats it.
