They changed their payment processor.
The processor requires you to install your bank's app to approve the transaction.
Several banking apps don't work on GrapheneOS.

Transferring Bitcoin into the Fold App for 100 spins yielded just enough sats to cover the fees to transfer it back out.
FYI: you have no fee control and my transfer has showed as pending for twelve hours.

Locking it after installation keeps your phone secure.
If it remains unlocked, then I can get a lot of items off your phone if income into possession of it.
It's a security issue.
GrapheneOS prioritizes security over privacy more so than other Android builds.

I don't see this as very important.
Anyone can buy a domain and point their NIP5 to it. Someone can buy a variation of my name and do this. Most domain registration information is hidden from the public. Using a domain provides no greater security or verification.
Anyone can change their NIP5 nearly instantaneously. I'm currently sitting at @nprofile…qss4 while I wait for @nprofile…mlyn to update BTCPayserver. Once that update hits, I'll self-host again. No one will notice.
It may help if you use your domain for other uses, giving it more validity, but even that can be copied and duped.
In my opinion, NIP5 is just an easy way to find your account rather than using an npub. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's the WoT, not the NIP5, that helps me know which accounts are legit and which are scams.

Yes, it's a bit of a pain right now that I can't always see every note by every person in a single app.
But it's still amazing that I can have multiple apps all using the same signing credentials and linked to my self-custodied lightning node for zaps and payments.
If one set of developers fails me I can move to something else without skipping a beat.
This is why, in the end, Nostr will prevail.

A group is stronger than a single person.
But if that were the natural state then there is nothing wrong with someone taking another's property. We wouldn't or shouldn't prohibit it.
Sometimes there's little we can do about it (thinking through history of all the wars of conquest fought) but I have no doubt that those who were plunderered wanted justice.
It's natural to want justice when your livelihood and property are taken.
This desire for justice can last generations.
Almost two laws at work here. Power corrupts versus property rights.

I don't see property rights as an ideal. It's a natural law.
Every human knows it is wrong to take something from another. It is written on our hearts, though many ignore the law.
If man was perfect, there would be no need to defend one's property. It is man's depravity that forces us to create defenses.
The purpose of government is supposed to be the upholding of these natural laws. But, as Bastiat puts it, man has learned to use government to legalize theft.
