Yeah, I'm no expert. I sure hope that there will be a major adjustment in the stock market soon as more investors begin accepting that the fossil fuel industry has no future or we don't.
I just caught that description about the deflation that Japan has been going through and they've had near-zero interest rates for such a long time that the sudden rise caused people that had borrowed in Yen to invest in western exchanges have to move their money back into Yen in regards to this.

I just watched a short explanation of this market turmoil and it puts pretty much the entire issue on Japan's monetary governor for drastically increasing their interest rates causing a twenty trillion dollar amount of movement out of western exchanges back into the Nikkei index so I'm not certain how much is due to the long overdue AI bubble bursting.

The Wall Street Journal put their dig at Jake Sherman into their article that provided their description of the efforts to get Rupert Murdoch's employee released from Putin's prison.
One thing Francis didn't mention while touting that propaganda from the WSJ, was that when Joe Biden and Jake Sherman were finalizing the historic prisoner swap, Rupert's outlets were stating that Biden was suffering from Parkinson's Disease and incapable of cognitive thoughts.

China is building the world's first solar thermal electricity generating plant that will have two towers instead of just one.
“The mirrors in the overlapping area can be utilized by either tower. This configuration is expected to enhance efficiency by 24%,” said Wen Jianghong, plant project manager.

I think that Hamas knew exactly what would happen to Palestinian civilians when they hatched their plan to rape and kill innocent women and children while they hid in their tunnels that they built using funding that the U.S. had provided which was intended to help Palestinian civilians.

I've heard from a lot of people that assert that they know more about climate, energy, and industry than I that Joe Biden's efforts to protect union jobs in the USA via Chinese tariffs are bad climate policies. I have been preemptively blocked by so many people because of my anti-Hamas posts that I always have to assume that may be why stuff like that happens to me.

For the most part, one thing that is pleasantly different here on Mastodon than on that foul site is that I find that I don't really have to block too many accounts.
They seem to pretty quickly block me when I express an opinion that differs from theirs on here.
