I think that Joe Biden knows what's at stake so I don't expect him to resign.
He's tougher than he may appear. Of course, he's also patriotic and if he determines that these coordinated attacks have wounded his electability too much than I expect he'll just announce he's resigning at the convention and transfer the campaign to Harris and her VP choice as gracefully as possible to save the Union.
