Still want to share this with you <3
It's long been known that grapefruit seed extract has antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties... Even as a child, I was told that the white part between the peel and the fruit was healthier than the fruit itself 😅 There were children who meticulously scraped off every whitish part of citrus fruits... which I never understood.
So this morning I made grapefruit and orange juice. Without the peel! Because I like to savor it 😄
For this, I juiced the peel afterward. And I'll dry and powder the pulp from the peel.
I've used everything and I'm looking forward to the experiment ☺️

This morning I wanted to post a big, loving GM and then missed it. But as the saying goes: Better late than never... Or let's just say, time is just an illusion anyway...💫 So, GM, dear Nostr Fam 💜
Today I had delicious freshly coldpressd juice for breakfast.
Today I especially needed a lot of energy because I had to pack four parcels and take them to the post office. Then I had to go shopping.
I'm so grateful for everything right now. My dear husband supports me in my projects, and that's the most valuable thing right now. He's also been taking care of things that weigh heavily on us for the past four years. And he protects us emotionally from them. This is more then I could ask for right now!
It's so important to constantly create balance for yourself, especially since the outside world is a huge challenge.

Lunch Time
I love my wraps. They are so practical to take with me and have the best lunch outside my comfy home...
The wrap itself is from carrots, onions, raisins, tahini, turmeric and ginger. The content has a ton of vegetables and sprouts. Enjoying with a delicious Mayo-dressing from almonds, lemon juice and spices.
For dessert a few delicious macadamia nuts, para nuts and pistachios and one large medjol date.

GM 🌞 The week begins... "Food for Thought"
One year ago tomorrow, I started eating exclusively raw food. I was very strict to really feel what it did to me. And I felt perfect the whole time. I also felt much more comfortable in my body, because in 2022, I started gaining weight (4-6 kg), which never happened to me except during pregnancy (over 25 years ago 😆)
In February I started eating small portions of steamed potatoes with coconut oil and salt every now and then. I have always loved potatoes so much!!! It has been ma to go comfort food since childhood.
I also started eating a little steamed black whole grain rice and sprouted raw oats. I'd still say I eat 98% raw food. And it just feels right for now.
I'm making conscious choices and savouring every bite ☺️
I wish you a wonderful start into the week and encourage you to choose consciously what you put into your body! Always consider: Is the choice emotional, rational, or is it what your body is telling you it needs?
This is how to gain power over habits and self-destruction without over-controlling.

Yes, nettles are an absolute superfood... I'll get some fresh ones as soon as it gets warmer. Great idea for a smoothie. They also taste good in salads. Shake the fresh nettles well in a towel to make the little hairs break... so they don't heart you in the mouth and throat.

I sprout alfalfa…and could mix it under her food. Or is it the seeds powdered?
I will try everything natural before chemicals.
She is also so healthy and playful. Also the pain in her joints seems to come and go. Haven’t found out a pattern yet.

I'm so sad today... My dog is really not feeling well today. She woke up and couldn't walk on her front leg. I just ordered medicinal mushrooms and chondroitin, glucosamine, and MSM. I strongly suspect she's getting arthritis :( She's not the youngest dog anymore and had a heartworm infection a few years ago that she almost didn't survive.
We were actually planning to go to a Nostr meetup... but driving for hours and then not being able to walk is just not good for her... And she's definitely not a Chihuahua 😅... that you can just pick up and go anywhere...

Now we will try to enjoy a calm weekend at home and care for this furry family member.

In case you'd like a healing advice: Mix in a glass a pinch of baking soda with a sip of water and rinse your mouth with it. Then spit it out. Do this once or twice a day. This helps to heal faster, as it's alkaline :) Prevents also any kind of infections ❤️‍🩹
