My only regret is I wished I signed this tape. It's a 1 of 1. I left it on a table at BTC Nashville.
It's 40minutes of the word "trump" spoken by a synth with the hypnotoad sound from Futurama.
But I sincerely hope it sparks joy to whomever picked it up.

I think it would be fun! The kits I ordered (not yet received) are a FM transmitter with no crystal. So its kinda mind blown how it works with a single transistor.
It both demystifies and adds more layers to radio I think.
But mainly the fun. On the tape, I would walk through the soldering steps so it would be a solder-a-long.

The easiest way is to just use a VM. I think it's still possible to then dump the usb traffic going in out of the VM, but I don't recall how.
The hardware devices that can do this are expensive. For example this is for a usb 2.0 setup

If you just want to digitize there are cheap ali express walkmans for 10 euro or so that even have a built in usb. Although I have not tried this feature. It plays ok.

I would encourage you to continue but at a pace comfortable to you and don't push it.
I used to be a runner (sub 20m 5k time) but then I surgery on both legs for stress fractures and other things related to running.
It takes time to get use to, don't be too hard on yourself.

Regarding the feed I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. I was able for example to import a pay walled feed into podverse for example.
Then yes, maybe no one has asked subatack for PC 2.0 features so maybe this is possible.
Honestly the most advanced thing they can do is just offer a rss snippet editor to customize at the channel/item level.
Castapod does exactly this and it works pretty well.

Yeah idk if I can honestly recommend it to anyone interested in Podcasting 2.0 features.
It's a podcast host in that it will host your rss feed and your audio. But that's it. I don't think you can customize the rss at all. So no chapters for example.
But if you have a substack and want to add a bonus audio thing, I can see it being handy.
For example, some creators are pay walling their podcasts behind substack pay walls.
This is lame. But I'm just stating what people are doing.

I now have a duplicator that can do 2 copies of a 40m tape in 6 minutes. It's slightly less quality than real time copies but cassettes have a upper limit anyway. And I still enjoy listening to them so I wouldn't say they are bad sounding.
It saves so much time.

Once I add a checkout page I feel like it's now a product.
I also need to think about how to allow the artist on the tape to get paid from a physical medium. At the moment I've got a nfc/qr so they can be boosted. This might be good enough.

Yeah, it's popular because it's a hack on the legal system. It's not the best system.
A hack, because of the power requirements it can legally operate in the unlicensed bands.
It is working and interesting however. There are even I think successes in "mission critical" use.
A long wire and a paddle can communicate across the world for example, lora can't touch that.
It's also a relatively cheap gadget, with proprietary transmitters that must be licensed from Semtech. And cheap electronic toys can sold, pitched, and enjoyed.
So I have a complicated relationship with LoRa. I can appreciate it's nerd factor, but at the same time, I recognize the cool software being built with it, but I do cringe a bit when people say that this proprietary modem is "freedom tech."
But you are reading this most likely on a proprietary computer from Intel, amd, or apple so maybe I'm being too harsh.

Yeah, your results may vary, this is what I do. I keep the fat on. On a very hot pan I flip the pork ever minute for maybe 6-8 minutes. Then I remove it and cover it in tin foil until ready foe the sauce.
There's debates on this, but flipping every minute I think helps even the heat transfer.

Try this:
Your form should look like an arrow. You elbows should go back 45 degrees, not 90, not straight back.
Try to get the form down first with an incline. Like use a couch or a bench first then go full pushup.
I had physical therapy recently and this helped me. Your results may vary.

Yes, I'm boosting myself. I read this again today and I'm still liking it.
I'm just starting my poetry journey, so I'm not sure if I have the balance correct yet.
But I will say this is an anti-war poem, but I'm not sure if that message is there.
