Folks, 17 states have joined a lawsuit (initiated, of course, by Texas, in the Northern District, Lubbock Div.) seeking an injunction against enforcement of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Section 504 prohibits discrimination against disabled people in the use of federal funds.
The big impact here is on public schools. These states want the right to discriminate against disabled kids, & they're about to demand it in court.

I also still think the party can function fine as a parliamentary and electoral bloc, but it'll need to be reconstituted and refocused.
But we'll see how the party functions in the coming weeks. If it fails to meet the moment, there'll have to be some sort of reckoning, as you suggest.

A first glance at the House budget proposal suggests that they'll need to raise the debt ceiling by $4T (for tax cuts, for the rich no doubt). It proposes deep cuts to everything but military and federal policing.

Every attempt to do this digitally has failed terribly for one reason or another. Really wish I could find a way that I enjoy and will stick with that also affords ready searching, ordering, linking, etc.
I think, for me, most of the stuff I really want to remember comes from books or other experiences that don't involve a computer/device, so the notebooks remain more usable.

It's interesting how, save some nods here and there to Markdown, the toolchains are mostly very old, many with roots going back to the 1970s.
