I've been very interested lately in big documentation projects, like those for BSDs, Linux, and related libraries and utilities.
It's interesting how, save some nods here and there to Markdown, the toolchains are mostly very old, many with roots going back to the 1970s.
Funnily, enough, I've been thinking about Finger and WebFinger myself, too.
