but it's a risk thing for me. I don't start by building things. I start by learning methodology then I go into building things. Mind you we're talking about starting learning. You start by firing into it. I start safer then build into building things.

but if you don't go to France afterwards you'd just forget what you learned. You have to contribute to open course projects to maintain your knowledge base. You just start by tinker I start by the books then tinker. But we are still learning as we go. I'm just doing it with less risk. It's a personal preference thing.
Like personally I need to get into projects again. I took 34 credit hours last semester so I couldn't then. So about a 68 hour work week for that 16 weeks semester.

it simply builds the foundation. Like I said in your rant. Smart college students will get involved in open source projects cause it greatly builds there resumes. You also learn a lot from it. Though if you don't do projects after learning the foundation. You will never get good at coding. It's just a way for me to start with a foundation then build on it. I would also recommend others do the same.

Khan academy is not the best for it though. Codecademy has free stuff and is decent. I know Cornell has good python and data science certs. I know the ones listed there are good for java and C++. I know that's contributing to open source software is a great resume builder for IT. Though I'm preferring certifications before I do that due to its complexity. Though it's not lack of doing it though. We'll see.

@npub1umd…cfwh What are the best certifications for Python, data science, C++, Java, C#, and AI not offered by google and accessible in the USA?
Currently going for my A+ during my major to start. Current plans are to go through the following through self teaching to reduce costs while also getting shadowing gigs to learn the technologies first hand:
CCNA, OCA/OCD, CLA/CLP, CySA+, Linux+, and Server+.

In order to get that you'd have to get blue skies to allow you to set up stuff that can all feed back into one domain. In order to make that happen you'd have to make it so that current holders in social media platforms would agree to it. Aka a compromise regarding platform management. I am just sharing my thoughts that's really all.

Here's the problem. I don't think they would cause they want to control the platform. It's very different on Blueskies from mastodon or twitter. The culture is much odder. They say that it's mainly for bot protect from what I've heard. I don't know though. I think I offered people keys to Blueskies whenever it was still spread through keys.
Don't know. Just my thoughts. Not much exciting on blueskies compared to here though.

Fedora is probably more secure. Which distro is better for development end stuff. Not server end stuff but more to where it's better for developers as that is better for my learning with just okayish security.

could be massively improved but I'd say it's not true intelligence atm. It needs tones more work to improve on that. ChatGPT is no different of a source than Wikipedia. It's just an easier source to common knowledge. But if you improve on it. It can become much better through several tweaks.

a old friend once said that current AI systems are but an advanced excerpt system due to it mimicking data but we'll have truly intelligent AI if you try to develop the means properly on quantum systems.

okay I do have to clarify some stuff here. The AI has flaws in regards to biases that it inherent while the data set on the AI system should be unbiased. It's less to do with power usage and more cause it's mimicking stuff without understand how to mimick understanding something from multiple perspectives. That is a flaw. It's less cause society likes or doesn't like it. But related to quality of results produced.

How does this affect the quality of the data set and the views that may come from AI given results? How might quantum computing AI systems be flawed in other ways?

I just want to have a positive discussion. I was just curious. I want to be less unstable. The conversations are had cause I'm fearful and insecure. Like if I were to ask "how do certain political parties use AI to manipulate the masses into thinking certain ways? How can ML be used to better make advertising more effective?" in terms of politics a lot of stuff can be traced back along ways. Those affects can be present in modern countries. Belgium and Switzerland have Germanic and romance speaking parts. The difference in what type of language you speak is given by where the Roman empire had power and where Germanic tribes had power. I wanted to know if there are any lasting affects to that.
