@npub189n…satx Hey, no argument from me that nobody's doing enough -- partly from prissy cowardice of annoying the Yanks. But climate disruption is a prominent issue everywhere but the US. For the rest of us, it's about finding the self-respect to cut America out of the world market and just get on with it.

@npub189n…satx There's been plenty of leading, it's just all outside the US. Remember Kyoto? Granted, no unified push has materialised yet, but in other countries climate disruption isn't the toxic flash grenade it is in American politics.
Americans make a serious mistake when they assume they're representative. You see it in things like their healthcare debacle, where they oddly believe that 20th century healthcare has never been tried before and is therefore a dubious proposition.
The rest of us have been doing it for over 50 years. There's nothing experimental about it. And we're all still here.
Same goes for green measures. Once more, the US is an outlier, not a leader.
