Americans make a serious mistake when they assume they're representative. You see it in things like their healthcare debacle, where they oddly believe that 20th century healthcare has never been tried before and is therefore a dubious proposition.
The rest of us have been doing it for over 50 years. There's nothing experimental about it. And we're all still here.
Same goes for green measures. Once more, the US is an outlier, not a leader.
