@nprofile…3wy7 I fell in love with it since the beginning. For a time, when Google killed Reader and started promoting that AMP shit it looked like it was agonizing. Same with podcasts, they started to fade, and suddenly, both had a resurgence. I couldn’t be happier! Now you younger guys need to embrace forums again, get rid of that short video shit thing and make a healthier internet for yourselves. 🤣

(I’m guessing no, buy I may be wrong) Though such small machine, if useful, may only be good for a couple keycaps. 😆

I’m not #vegan, but I wanted to try a couple vegan sauces: aioli and a substitute for mayonnaise. Store bought aioli has eggs, so I wanted to make the original garlic and olive oil emulsion. The “vegannaise” is mostly cashews and macadamia nuts, with a few ingredients more.

“Don’t say #Mastodon, better call it #Fediverse” is giving me “Don’t call it ‘Linux’, call it ‘GNU/Linux’” vibes again.
In the end, what’s really important is that people realize that there are better alternatives to oligarch-controlled social media. You don’t need to be exposed to abuse, hate or discrimination. A more welcoming and supportive environment exists here for everybody.

As someone with deep CSS skills but not so good TS skills (I’m a Designer) I feel some of the requirements fit like a glove, but others are more fit for someone like one of my devs (that are not that good at CSS or accessibility, for example, but great at the logic of web apps). Thanks!

@npub12ty…vnqc @npub120z…33r2 Do you think they'll put Instagram on ActivityPub in the future? Instagram is way more mature as a platform Than Threads. AP integration may be way more difficult. But being able to follow Instagram accounts from Pixelfed (or Mastodon) may be huge. What's your opinion?

@npub1xzm…eykm I hope they don't drop this support later when they see the content they're linking with is useless for their business. But it's a good way to introduce people to the fediverse. I think a lot of people are scared of it. This may make them used to it. Let's hope it's positive for everybody, and not just Meta.
