for example, you can animate the bird to travel along a line, but you can also use it's rotation and a speed vector to enulate its flight each frame

the difference is now you're only targeting one abstraction layer instead of the OS, and it comes bundled with the browser, like flash used to, like java kinda did

@npub1nhw…g2sy these are abstractions over the specific algorithms, which is what you'd find searching in general for pathing algos
these classes make it a bit easier to use the underlying algo by giving you the OOP tree godot (and uinty) uses
basically, it's the same, but godot does some bonus work for you to keep it more organized, while you only lose a negligible amount of control
