Yet, they all received the same messages from the leaders of those churches. I caught a senior officer/supervisor downloading anti-Muslim material that was easily traced back to the Stormfront Nazi web. Her husband was a county legislator. I doubt she knew of the Stormfront origination of the screed, but this is the type of information the fundies shared.

Shorts I wore in 1987 Gr Canyon trip are now large. Very slight anemia, likely due to need for more iron/B Vit in diet connected to great reduction in meat consumption. Stress reduction from retirement/vigorous phys activity around yard is a big factor I think. You didn't ask, but I am quite proud after being obese

This seems to be a not unheard of attack in org crim/RICO type cases? I don't know. Not really relevant just curious.

The problem is that the #CorporateOligarchy to which they answer has no deep seated antagonism to #fascism.

Every further radicalization of the GOP is met with partial capitulation by the DEMs, moving the nation closer to #fascism. Decades of this does not seem over yet.

#[0] You are probably right. Having grown up when this country seemed to be addressing its long history of genocide, racism, misogyny and homophobia it is extremely depressing. I have said for ~40 yrs that the humanity's continued obsession with religion would be our downfall. Probably not just for the US, but very possibly extinction of the species (or at least reduction to bands of hunter-gatherers). And here we are regressing ever more rapidly.

#[0] I'll take it. Ethics change would require a complete overhaul of the regulation of the MSM, breakup of the absurd consolidation allowed since Clinton yrs, reimposition of the fairness doctrine. Require local ownership of local media. Public support for local newspapers. Essentially dismantling the whole neoliberal #[1]. So, bottom line, a people's revolution. Likelihood?
